This song came out nearly 27 years ago. The album conquered entire India and became Internationally popular during 90's and this Tamil song even featured in Oscar nominated English film Lion, where it become part of the narrative.

I hope they had lyrics or subtitles for this song because they are also the part of the package that makes this song so special. It's a triple threat: great music, great dance, great lyrics. Also, Prabhu Deva is a legendary dancer and choreographer. You wanna see dance, you see Prabhu Deva's songs. Also, even so many of the modern songs, he is the choreographer for them. And A. R. Rehman is a legendary musician.

Why Americans feel jealous about others, may be the Micheal Jackson was a great dancer but he used repeated steps many times, but prabhudeva never repeat any step... In my way if we compare their stages....as similarity. Michael is like Bruce Lee Prabhudeva like Jackie Chan.... Why because prabhudeva alway use comedy in his dance forms...
