How to write a fight in Big 3. One Piece : Sometimes emotional, but often predictable Naruto : Random bullshits go until they work. If they don't, it's talkin' time! Bleach : I've won. No, I've. Nah, I won. Nope. Ywach : It's Ywachin' time. Aizen and Urahara out of nowhere : They're all part of our plans.
It's crazy how this whole time, Haschwalth was actually referring to Yhwach's demise and not Ichigo and his friends. The vision he saw, the dream, it was the unavoidable future that Yhwach couldn't change, because he was too blinded by his own power to see it. It was unfortunate the way it all played out, I had hoped Kubo would have taken more care to further develop how this would inevitably unfold, but because he wrote Yhwach so powerful, he had to resort to deus ex machina to resolve an unsolvable problem. Seems to be a common theme with Bleach, build up a monster of an antagonist, make them incredibly powerful and compelling, find out that you've written yourself into a corner because you can't figure out how they should die, and then insert deus ex machina.
People keep saying Kubo didn't have enough time to write out the ending but from what I've read it seems like he made ywatch too powerful,he should have made him alittle more even instead of giving him all this power then writing himself into a corner.
@@johnbitschkat8896 The Almighty allowed Yhwach to rewrite timelines where he died. So even if he was fooled by Kyoka Suigetsu, he was able to rewrite his own fate, thus rendering Aizen's plan useless.
@@IanLEAU Nah, even still Uryu's Antithesis can counter Almighty alongwith his Stillsilver, if Yhwach changed this event, Uryu could've inverted this event to his favour
Haschwalth's power is a perfect example of Kubo's contrived and convenient writing in the last arc. Redistributing luck is already a vague power (just like the jackpot fullbring), but then he goes and adds the shield, which counters the single demerit the ability has and makes it even more powerful. There's no strategy or limitation, his power's simply broken
Well shit some niggas are just that powerful lmao and narratively it plays alright that Juha steals his powers as he does to everybody bcuz he is that kind of person who would use anybody for his purpose
By the way, is it only me or Uryu blue and white bow looked 10x times cooler than any quincies actual weapon? It look so stylish and well designed to me
I hope they expand on this as well as what Ryuken and Isshin were doing. Uryu's father, the "last Quincy" in the world of the living had such a small role in the final arc...about Quincies mind you...they should show more of him than the manga did and this fight would be an opportunity to do that
@@kelog5446 Um, forging the arrow that stopped Yhwach's Aushwalen and ultimately led to the dude's defeat is not a small role. Don't forget, the Ishidas were out for revenge against the dude that killed Uryu's mom, just like how Ichigo wanted to avenge his own mother from way back in the first season...
I mean “My reiatsu better than yours” still kinda work here as it prevents someone with broken haxs to cook too much and kills everyone by nullifying their abilities with random stuffs they pull out
This should have been a great fight, and a earned victory for a MC to ensure Yhwach's backup for the Almighty went down before he could "wake up". But we all know what happens later, and this feels completely rub of the mill for the "9 Days Left" part of the Arc.
Nah, Uryu was fucked the moment he decided to fight Haschwalth. There's a reason why the latter was Yhwach's right hand man, and he demonstrated it beautifully. Besides, it's meant to show the reader how hopeless the situation truly is. Ichigo and his buddies were literally fighting against God Almighty. They simply never stood a chance.
He fixed the main problem in the 2nd part with the Zero Squad. He gave them the recognition and hype they deserved giving every member the time to shine. He'll fix this problem too. So happy that he's heavily involved in the anime
They can, if you didn't see the manga they can be killed with ease, Yhwach takes power from them if they fail their battle, or, if they aren't needed unlike their power.
I love when Ishida asks Jugram, "Mind if I ask you something? Why do you asi what kind of person I am?" I loved that introduction to the volume in the manga. Right off the bat sets a mood of caution and a oh fu* realization feeling when Jugram confronts Uryu about his betrayal. Wish we got to see more of this fight
Uryu's, antithesis was being built up this whole arc to be another counter to Almighty. Was even stated by Haschwalth that his Antithesis was one of the few things that could stop Ywach.@@noumanabbasi9547
How is it gonna counter the Almighty? The ability is retarded. Yhwach shouldn't have had any problems seeing that Uryu was planning to use the arrow. There's no way you can counter the Almighty. Ability has no weaknesses so any way Kubo tries to rewrite Yhwach's defeat is gonna feel cheap or a plot hole
i hated this fight so much, like jugram was teased as the 2nd in command, he was basically the ulquiro of the quencies, yet this is what we got, why hype up a character this much only for him to have a fight with uryu and also him getting wiped by yhwach, their where so many fan theories about him vs ichigo and kubo bloody dangled this guy like he was the 2nd coming of yhwach and what we got was crap, kubo focused way to much time on the female sternritters and if you think about it all jugram actualy did was suck of YHWACH, he was basically the hype man, shoulve given him the schrift H: The Hype, cuz this dude dickrode yhwach so hard.
Not okay with the Uryu point That's the only fight Uryu got and I really wanted to see his vollstandig Jugo isn't the best match for ichi Maybe a scientific or shunsui but definitely not Ichigo
The same happened when he was a kid. Yhwach didn't choose to not take Uryuu's, he was immune to having his power stolen from the beginning. It's still plot armor since it was not explained, but it was already known to be like this at this point.
@@joaoclesio2869 Yep, having Katagiri as her mom means that Uryuu is a halfling Quincy. Kinda sad to think that Ryuken is the last full-blooded Quincy alive
@@joaoclesio2869that makes sense. I always thought it was his balance power that did him in. Haschwald uses the shield negate the negative effects of his powers making it unbalanced, but the antithesis hit him directly. The balance took away the damage from Haschwald but then the scales were uneven again. So when the ashwalen hit the balance made it target Haschwald instead of Uryu at least that’s how I had it play out in my head
the thing is uryu can just use anti-thesis to a point where the damage becomes negligible. I mean hurt Uryu, say 100% he returns it at the same rate. Jugram will return it back only at 50% because the 50 goes to his shield. then uryu uses his anti-thesis again so on and so forth. In the end I believe the shield will end up broken since all of the damage it gets is not transferable. which in the in the end will make the fight a stalemate since jugram can just balance everything between them
I don’t understand some of the comments. Expectations are logical when it was the end of the Ginjo arc but still, I was (and currently too) overhyped by the animation AND the story in the manga. Some of you think a lot of scenes are not logical and some fights, as Uruy vs Ichida, were disapointting but I don’t think they are at all, consedering Kubo is (was?) sick and mainly pressed by publishers. We understand a lot of things, details, and we figure out how the quincy arc ends. Moreover, Manga and animation are two different things bounded by the same story, we saw that with Ichigo Vs Yhwach be4 he left soul society with all the stern ritters, they added plenty of scenes that weren’t in the manga and it was very satisfying. I can understand some disppointments but still I can’t deny, i loved the evolution of ALL characters and the plot line.
Sounds like your emotional attachment is stopping you from critical thinking. I enjoyed this arc, the fights and designs were entertaining but from a writing standpoint it was a hot mess
It pisses me off how this is written. The way Ishida's powers work he should just send it right back at the correct moment and decapitate Jugram in that moment right??? Wtf
@@jdizzle1779 look at the pacing lol this fight should happend before the end of cour 3 at the pace the anime is going and than we still have another 12 episodes in cour 4
Poor gui buzz B forever 😮 Well if there are alternative ending who save the Quincy to bud they never intended to be break bond by their king until they know their power got stolen 😂😂😂 they feel it later on 😅
Ryuuken Fight Against Hashwalth Uryu:Wait Father but Ryuken:No "buts" get out here It's Too dangerous I must defeat Hashwalth Without rising his Power that he can Use Get Out Now Run! Uryu:Yes Father
Uryu:Father What About You Save Yourself Ryuken:I must Defeat Hashwalth on my own Hashwalth:Don't Listen To Father You Traitor Elite Ryuken:He's My Son don't mind control him as a Puppet
I honestly don't like the point that Kubo drew here and hope that anime will make some significant changes to this entire idea. Why can't Uryu just remain himself? Calm, collected, with logical thinking, why should he change to be more like Ichigo and others? That's the way he was raised. He's a member of species that stays under a constant threat of a literal genocide just because they were born with this power. Victory over Yhwach doesn't change that - if anything, there's only goings to be more stereotypes about quincies being an absolute evil. He's one of the last of his kind. Of course he has to carefully balance all of his decisions. Of course he can't just rush on a first thought. And apparently, that's why he isn't allowed to be happy.
Yeah, but there is one point: Being a human. A human who needs to feel happiness, and freedom, to live every moment and feelings in his life and not the constant fear because of the burden that weighs down on him. And your loved ones naturally shaping you, but that doesen't mean you give up your own character.
The bleach powers are just too crazy. I think Kubo could have taken a lesson from Oda and tried to balance the craziness of these abilities, like how Oda balanced the craziness of fruits with haki.
@@murderbear9576 I dont think so but If the shinigami use it against quincies they might get the upper hand even far greater since they are much more in control over the reishi manipulation
Why are people acting like Jugram is invincible? Granted he pretty much is top 10 in the verse, but we can clearly see that his power is in his Shield (correct me if im wrong). So against stronger opponents his upper hand his shield, but naturally if his shield breaks, it’s over for him (is there anything to imply his shield is unbreakable?). Edit: and we know he has some of the highest reiatsu in the verse since he is semi-relative to Yhwach
There are two parts to his power, there is balance "controls luck" and the shield redirection of misfortune. His main power, his overarching power is equalize the scales. So when someone has good luck, he can replace that luck with misfortune. A good example is Cang. Cang's ability is to harden his skin to the point that it can hold against attacks. "The Iron (鋼鉄 (ジ・アイアン), Ji Aian; Japanese for "Steel"): Cang's Schrift enables him to coat his skin partially or fully in a layer of iron, making his body virtually invulnerable to physical harm while the ability is active." People miss this moment and misunderstood Hasch's ability. He doesn't just redirect misfortune, he rewrites it. The first time Hasch could not pierce Cang's coat of iron. Hasch says, how fortunate, the scales tip the balance and then he one shots him. The shield merely is a backup and an extra feature of his ability and is critical in dealing with ishida's power, but the true power of balance is tipping the scales, meaning he can counter hax or abilities if they provide luck for the opponent. So I argue if he faced Gerald and Gerald uses the Miracle, on paper Jugram can overcome Geralds power and kill him.
@@rayenmoussa5448 I think I insulted them a bit too much. Kenpachi bankai reveal was really great and it was humorous The one thing I hate is how they are given bs immortality... That doesn't give any sense satisfaction with the training of Kenpachi who just killed his idol and Shunsui the new head captain using his bankai only for Lil Barro to be damn immortal
The top sternritter powers seemed lazy to me. 0 squad were foddered. This arc would have benefited from alot more planning but Kubo was strapped for time. Hopefully big changes in the anime can fix some of it
@@harshabhigyan928 what it just barely is on episode 9 lmao. They’ve added alot of Uryu scenes already clearly they will flesh out shit towards the end
While I did find this fight entertaining with all the uno reversing, I was still disappointed with this fight. Hashwalth should have fought multiple enemies like gerard .Hell let ichigo fight him and use his bankai on him, showcase ichigo bankai before yuha negs it while also showing how powerful hashwalth is.
Lol hes basically the sasuke of the show. Its just ichigo was always so insanely strong that ishida wasnt a match to him. Ishida is one of the strongest characters in bleach cuz of antithesis
@@tearkey1624 just because not every character from Bleach is a shonen OP godlike protagonist like Ichigo, that doesn't mean they can't be present in the last arc, your complain doesn't make any sense
