One of the world's most advanced fighter jets, the F-35, has undergone a major upgrade and will soon enter service. Why is this update necessary and what will it change? Watch to the end to find out!
'Gravity bomb' - damn that sounded terrific, until i did some searching and realized that its just an old fashioned bomb that falls under gravity. Clever marketing?
The Airforce does not want to differentiate between a high speed fighter and a close air support system. The A10-Thunderbolt is a proven platform for close air support, but it is getting dated...it's time to build a replacement for the A10 without losing the current system's advantages. Speed is the only thing the Airforce has on its mind but that is saddly at the expense of ground troops.
It's prove to he great, against people in sandals.. but not as good as an Apache. And they'll both easily get knocked out of the sky in contested airspace
@@rogerwilco5918 Hahahaha, helicopters are sitting ducks in general and require close air support themselves. The beauty of A10s is that they do take a licking and keep on ticking. It is typically hard to completely disable an A10 immediately. The triple redundancy in flight controls let them limp home more times than not.
Nah, that would be far to boring, and guys are willing to die just to drive a car in circles, so they are certainly going to want to get up there and mix it up themselves regardless of the risk. Not every bloke is a wet blanket.
The unveiling of the world’s most advanced fighter jet by the US Air Force is fascinating! It highlights cutting-edge technology that’s transforming modern military defense and pushing the limits of aviation.
It is interesting to note that VERY little solid fact is disclosed about the latest updates, and nothing said about the ongoing delay situation as to the actual implementation of the Block 4 release. This is very disappointing. It also does not mention the halting of actual production - why would they build new (but obsolete) planes that can't be upgraded? Not discussed. The the BIG elephant in the room! Will the Block 4 release allow future F-35s to mount the NATO Meteor missile? No-one seems willing to commit to a definite yea or nay! Why is this? The Meteor is clearly superior to even the very latest AMRAAM missiles, and the F-35s of NATO allies cannot use Meteor! All of the NATO allies have planes that can mount Meteor (Typhoon, Rafale, JAS39 Gripen), but not F-35! It's little wonder then that NATO allies (like the Royal Navy) are very reluctant to buy further F-35s (except for use in roles not requiring long range air-to-air interception). Why no info?
Future all unmanned that is fact also the Future aircraft significantly jumped there never know which direction for me only unmanned also about costs. The same infantry never need a Tank only thing with self protection system less armour but quickly quickly change position that also for next year's directly in or on the front unmanned to better protect the Solders....
