To the Lu family I am so very sorry for your loss. As a Former United States Marine I thank you for your Son, brothers and remaining family’s for his service and sacrifice .. Semper Fidelis
Before I retired from the Army I spent time as Casualty Assistance NCO, I did death notifications, and I was a funeral detail NCOIC. In my entire 23 years in the Army those three details were tougher than ANY deployment I was on. Knocking on a door to notify a family of a death is gut wrenching. Presenting the Colors to a grieving family member was more emotional than I can attempt to explain. I often cried as I presented the flags, even though I wasn't supposed to. Even watching this video brings back those memories and makes me emotional 😢. When I retired and became a police officer my department knew I had done these details and they wanted me to be on the color guard team for police funerals. I tried, but I just couldn't do it again. I really feel for this grieving family 👪 😢.
You are human with real emotions & yes this is heartwrenching no matter how many vets services you go to so its ok, it shows you have a heart & wore it on your sleeve.
I was a Sr. Pastor for 30 years and have presided over many funerals. My father was a 28-year Air Force veteran and my brother was a 12-year Air Force veteran. Words can never express the debt we owe to men like your loved one. May the God of peace cover you with His gentle Wings during these next few weeks and months of sorrow. May He send angels daily to be in your home as you wake and lay down to rest. Lean on Jesus Christ, for he's an ever present help in a time of sorrow. My prayers are with your family and my gratefulness is offered for your loss. Amen!✝
I come from a family of several Veterans! My parents were both Army, I & my 2 brothers were Air Force! May God Bless & comfort you! Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your son's sacrifice! We shared the same rank SRA. 🇺🇸🙏✝️🇺🇸🙏✝️😪

I don't mean to sound disrespectful but for those who live outside the USA watching this, it would have been nice if the music stopped so we could hear the announcement to fully understand what was happening. I'm so sorry for your loss.
I don't know this young man but I thank him for his sevice.I'm so proud of him.He choose to serve our country. Job well done.May he rest in peace.
