@@georgestone6807 Normally, it is the best idea. But dependency on spare parts at the of need is more important than mere technology and performance. And that's why countries are trying get their own indigenous capabilities. Examples are India is not getting main parts of Tejas from Europe. Pakistan is not getting F16 upgrades and spare parts.

There is always an End User Agreement.. Turkey cant give S400 to Pakistan without Russias permission.. nd Russia wont permit s400 to pakistan as Russia is always with India.. so either India will buy, or Turkey will have to keep it.. most probably Russia will buy back..😅 if given at half rate, India might go forward and buy them all, but India doesnt need it anymore as we have already developed 350km defense system of our own.. 🤷‍♂️
