If I understand correctly the ANV will also be out of supply as McLellan's zone of influence cuts their full (rail) supply, from Richmond via Hannover and from the southwest at Gordonsville, at the end of their next impulse. Another reason to fall back to Hannover. They are however able to trace limited supply from Richmond.
McClellan had to stop in gordonsville. He only has 3 MP. It costs 2 to cross the Rappahannock river hexside. EDIT: scratch that... realized he is following the railroad
Quite a major update is the rule for moving cautious generals. You wouldn't move them sometimes because they would take 2 AP's to move. It's only 1 unless they intend to attack or move in to a ZOI.
Lots of decisions, nearly but not quite achieving decisive victories/breakthroughs - brilliantly balanced and gripping from the off. I'm going to have to get it back to the table.
@@chewiematt9727 I see. Because of the CSA army still up near Manassas, the Union army cannot trace from Richmond up to Washington, which *would* put them in supply.
When you moved the Army of the Patomic around ANV, didn't you risk putting it out of supply? All the ANV had to do was cut it off? Maybe I'm missing something. Thanks for the video.
