I always chuckle when people act like we have to start doing something before our government gets too out of control. Its been too late for that for a long time, people will continue to justify it or ignore it until..... nothing, itll just keep growing. Look at north korea, no edward snodens there. And we already proved that whistleblowers cant change anything here. This wont end like the giver, with one heroic happy moment saving us all, itll end like 1984 or fahrenheit 451. With the taking advantage of voluntary submission made by human nature. When the time comes, we will gladly adopt the computer chips like theyre the newest iphone. It will become necessary then get a chip to compete with the rest of the people who have them in terms of occupation. It will become as necessary as learning a language. Then something like the patriot act comes in, we cheer it on the whole way. They now have the ability to monitor your thoughts and train your subconscious mind, in order to combat terrorism.

There is also a documentary pertaining to World War II (and JFK) called "Everything is a Rich Man's Trick" that reminded me a lot of Jame's WWI doc.. but much more compelling and emotionally evocative, at least to me.
