PALKISHARMA...please if you are reporting on my country it means a lot to us Guyanese that you get it right. There is no dispute but more a land grab.This issues was settled centuries ago. As we all know because of oil Venezuela decides to be the type of neighbour that no one wishes to have. There a a time not so long ago that Guyanese were welcomed with open arms in Venezuela because were considered very poor. Now today our Government and these oil companies have struck a not so good deal whereby Guyana is in a lop sided oil contract. Today Mad duro like the typical neighbour is simply jealous of Guyana's new found wealth. Guyana needs to be protected by these bullies at all cost because we are a Peaceful People .

I think an even more important question is. How can they even take Essequibo? I mean literally, how are they physically going to take it? There are no roads, no buildings, no infrastructure whatsoever. It’s nothing but just dense jungle and forest. Maybe they might be able to do a naval invasion. But that would also bring in the US navy and France and Brazil as well. Venezuela would suffer the same fate as Iraq.
