HMH-464 Condors out of MCAS New River NC. A sister squadron of The Mighty Mighty HMH-466 Wolfpack! Lol! Every sound is a different memory. Thanks! Semper Fi!
Who gives a schyte? There's hundreds of videos of Shitters departing, but his is the first video I've ever found that got all the ground stuff properly.
@@mediamanny53 no you didnt bro. When you got helos kicking debris up like that, it makes it almost impossible to get a decent shot. @Kerry Clark, lets see you try getting a shot like that.
Guys at this point I'm sorry if you don't like the video but I don't give a shit but those that do and aren't facking expert critics, I thank you very much !!!
Who gives a fuck if you missed the takeoff? There’s hundreds of other videos of Shitters taking off, but almost everyone else fucks up filming the start. This video is a much rarer gem .
John Livingstone CH -53D Sea Stallions, they are used for heavy lifts, troop insertions, and ferry supplies to troops on ground....they can also be refueled in the air with a refueling pod attached....
I can clarify the Viper/Cobra discussion. The US Marine Corps uses two versions of the Bell AH-1 helicopter: The AH-1W "Super Cobra" with two-blade main rotor and the later Version AH-1Z "Viper" with four-blade main rotor. Since the one in the video has a two-blade main rotor, it is the "Super Cobra" - not the "Viper". Furthermore both of the versions I mentioned have two engines in contrast to the former US Army versions of the AH-1 Cobra with a single engine.
Give him a break, there’s other videos that show that. This, however, is the only video I’ve yet found that shows the Shitter’s entire startup sequence.
¡¡que impresionantes esos gigantes o goliats de eeuu hasta superman los respeta ¿¿ esos mismos helicopteros se usaron durante el exodo de saigon en 1975???💭💭💭💭💭💭😿🙀🙀🙀
It takes as long as the pilot can finish looking over his checklist to make sure everything is in the proper running order…. Unless under pressure to get the H*** out of there.
Finally a non critical and appreciative gentleman. I thank you Michael very much 🙏👍 I gotta explain that I don't mind criticism but when you get vulgar or criticize what I did in good faith to share & you have nothing to offer but that, that's where I draw the line. Again thank you
In case you did not know it, but these are CH-53 Sea Stallions. They can hold up to 25 - 30 Marines. O.K. The AH-1 Super Cobra's are behind the CH-53's. I did not see them at the First. Sorry. Semper Fidelis, The Gunny
Is that the Bronx? I am assuming it is correct. it's been a very long time I've been to Orchard Beach. As far as not being completely correct in your statement about the video people will hate. I was in the Navy, the trolls will always try to be internet warriors. Next.
Thank you I appreciate your comment, I was trying to capture the moment that was all.....should've left it blank & left the amateur video play out but ?????? Anyway thank you Veteran & thanks for your service Yes the Bronx 🙏👍
At one time both the ARMY and USMC had Cobras. Both were based on the UH-1 heuey drivetrain. The Marines upgraded the power plants and rotor heads then the Cobra became the Viper.... So I was told my a crayon eating Jarhead.
US Marine Corps not Corp. We are a Corps not a corporation. Crew Chief on 53s, V-22 and UH-1s best job in the Corps. Only way to go as enlisted flight crew. C-130s sometimes. Next generation of the Sea Stallion the CH-53K Will be only better. The 53 is a great airframe. The CH-47D/E still a great airframe just doesn't have the power of a 53, plus the 47s don't do well aboard ship where space is at a premium. The do good on full size aircraft carriers such as the Apache and Blackhawks. The naval version of a Blackhawk SH-60s the tail boom will fold helping with space on deck and in the hanger deck.
You know what I do not give a fuck, I never said I was military or knew about it....I just did a fucking video of something I like, if you fucking like it fine, if not, fuck it! Tired of all you fucking experts. So fuck off!!#
mediamanny53 dont take a video of something u dont know about it offense veterans and makes u look like a stupid civilian no offense its true... Better correct that shit pog
or maybe take it as a simple correction to make you a bit more knowledgable for the future you know an attempt to help. ignorance doesnt get you views and subs.
The US Marine Corps operates two medium helicopters of the H-1 family. The new UH-1Y Venom is the replacement for the venerable UH-1N Huey medium lift helicopter, and the AH-1Z Viper (depicted in the back) is the replacement for the AH-1W Cobra. The CH-53K King Stallion will replace the CH-53E Stallion (depicted). The H-1 series of logistical support and attack helicopters have over 80+% commonality of parts saving huge amounts of logistical support cost in the field that stretches around the globe for the Marine Corps our 911 Force. The Marine has nothing against the Boeing AH-64 Apache, they simply cannot afford to operate them.
