This was part of KMEP 17-11 when I was with 3/8 India company. We had a real good time with the bois here. I do not own the rights to any of the songs played in this video.
My son was deployed there too. He traded somethin somethin for a korean size 13 boots none of them could wear. Said the trade negptiations were fun and interesting. I think he traded a hat for the boots. Still has them at home in Louisiana, still wears them. Fun times! He said the SKs expended all their munitions 1st day of operations, but were good guys. Too bad we cant just be friends with errybody.
@@spazemfathemcazemmeleggymi272 They would be identified the minute they had to open their mouth because South Koreans and North Koreans speak their language differently. The difference there is less in accent but more in used vocabulary and also the way grammar is applied. In the past decades South Koreans adapted many loan words from English and some from other European languages. Also there's probably much more grammar that has been simplified in South Korea due to gradual changes over time in casual speech. This difference is increasing with each day of separation. 50 years ago you probably wouldn't have spotted a difference but 70 years of isolation for one half do this to a language.
@@MatmoeLP I was also thinking that not even their special forces know that the electric lightbulb exists, so they say anything and they display their ignorance.
@@MatmoeLP I hope that a spy would be trained to blend in with their environment. That being said, I wonder if they would just abandon their country and start living in South Korea of they ever got the chance to leave that prison in the skin of a country
As veteran myself, these are moments soldiers love! The military is a very serious thing, but great leaders know how important to keep up morale!! I really enjoyed watching these soldiers having fun, they deserve it!!!
I did my Marine Corps mountain training with the South Korean Roc Marines too back in the 80s. We played one legged hop chicken instead of dancing. You attempt to knock each other down with out using your hands, just shoulders, while hopping on one leg It's actually pretty hard to do once your standing leg burns out, but then you switch to the other leg lol! But that's what we did to let off steam. They were very cool and great athletes. Little guys too, but strong! They were very competitive and all black belts. A lot of fun. I enjoyed South Korea.
I love this so much, this is my first time watching it and I love how even though they don't speak each other's languages, they can still communicate through what they enjoy doing 😭😭
Just glad to see them all having a blast & im sure its memories they all will remember. Loved to see all the smiles, laughs & cheers. They sure are having a great time. Respect to all that serve.
Watching the battle of Normandy tonight and just thinking how precious are our soldiers and all that they face on the battle field. Psalm 91 over you all. God bless!
Same statement as many others, as a vet, nothing like after an ops or training you get to actually have fun with your brothers in arms. Met some wild dudes from everywhere! Love seeing all our people together. We are one!
I am in tears lol happy tears of happiness. The fact that everyone is having such fun and there’s no killings between anyone. This is what true brotherhood of soldiers should be like every day. Instead of fighting and killing each other. Coming from a military family and now being a military mom I hope that these are the same memories my sons experience in the military. All of you are my true heroes and thank you for being who you are.
Excellent times of refreshments. Excellent dance talents. These should be promoted & extra given for such entertainment when people are so far from home. GOD bless them
God I loved this! Worked with the ROK Marines many times. They are hard! Best part about it is you know both those US and Korean Marines would fight and die for each other like brothers side by side. Semper Fi. USMC 1987-2009.
Damn bro this is now one of my favorite videos ever. What a great representation of brotherhood. Makes me miss all my past male buddies. Especially the ones I made in Texas, and back in my hometown, and in college :'c
