They cross the border illegally and wanted better life. We have so many citizens who live on the streets and no job. Plus who know if they have criminal background or not. No screening but they are around us now.

When an item isn't available for them to purchase, they walk or take a bus next door to Colombia to buy it, where food is plentiful & VERY inexpensive. They're lacking medical care so MANY of them receive treatment & Rx in Colombia or Brazil. 8 million Venezulans have claimed asylum in Brazil. Millions have also claimed asylum in Colombia, Ecuador, Chili & Peru. They were welcomed in & had good jobs, nice homes & were living good lives. They learned we were allowing everyone in so they took the opportunity to come here & upgrade. Since they already claimed asylum in other countries, they can't claim again here. So, they throw away their IDs & documents before entering & claim to be from Venezuela, even though they haven't lived there in yrs, so they'll be allowed in. The VAST majority of migrants from Haiti & Cuba are doing the same. They claimed asylum in Brazil & Chili yrs ago, were welcomed in, had good lives & jobs, but decided to take the opportunity to upgrade while they're allowed in without documents showing where they've been living. 97% will not show up for their court hearing scheduled several years from now because they know they have no legal right to be here & will be deported. They're not coming to work or fleeing anything. They feel ENTITLED to live off of our hard work which is why it's worth it to them to pay thousands to criminals to enter illegally.
