I’m from the US living in Florida. This is not unusual that Russia naval ships going to Cuba. This happens all the time. Cuba and Russia are allies. US is always on alert of Cuba since 1962.

@@Zeptus1488 No, why would anyone? They pull into port in Cuba all the time, this is nothing new, they had 1 in port there a year ago. Its a frigate, a sub and a couple of support ships. Reinforcements for what? Those ships arent capable of doing any damage to anything. You, internet admirals are the only ones making an issue out of it. They will be shadowed and that is it, just like they do to us when we are on that side of the world.

What is a tug, and oiler going to do? A frigate, come on, and the sub is not a nuke, it is not an issue

Given that the "meat wave" attacks the Russians have been doing in Ukraine, do you think they wouldn't sacrifice a sub and frigate for a decapitation strike? Americas actions when Europe is in conflict, and when there could be a conflict on its own doorstep are different. Remember the Cuban Missle Crisis ? The U.S. worked out a deal where Russia removed the missles from Cuba and the U.S. removed missles from Turkey. The Russian ships will refuel in Venezuela. Maybe even install Soviet long range missle systems. I am suprised it took Russia this long to do this.

USA send all kind of weapons to Ukraine to attack Russian soldiers, it is not wrong for Russia to send S400, Zircon, Iskander Othniks, SU35, SU34, Saheed 136, Kamikaze drone, Lancet drone and some nuclear missiles to Cuba, Yemen, Iran, Iraq. Lebanon, Syria, Venezuela, Hungary, Somalia, Niger, Mexico too.

Putin wants the US to know we don’t have the high card anymore. They can attract us on our own soil. If we allow Ukraine to attract Russia, we will be attracted in the same exact manner

Britain says "a handful" of Russian ships is being sent to Cuba. *"The move comes as around 20 Nato countries launch BALTOPS 24 on Friday, a large air and naval exercise in the Baltic, close to the Russian border."* The Telegraph. So, Russia is not happy and is playing tit-for-tat - except they have a lot fewer ships than NATO, especially after Ukraine has destroyed a good number of them.
