US New Insane SUPERSONIC Jet Shocked The World!

Supersonic flight is something that seems to have gone by the wayside in recent years. Back in the days of Concorde breaking the speed of sound in a jet was something to aspire to. Now the inefficient way that these planes move means that sonic boom-breaking aircraft are few and far between in comparison to decades ago. But now there’s a new breed of supersonic aircraft and the X-59 is one of the most exciting of these planes. Let’s take a closer look at why.

Don't cut through the air. Let the air go through the plane. Make the engine, lengthen the air inlet about 60 ' then where the wings are placed expand the fuselage or engine inlet to alow for pilot and of passengers / freight.

That looks so amazing. It's like a plane from the 1960s looking into the future. If you saw this plane in a film, you would say that the artist overstyled the design. It's fantastic to see tremendous and different-looking planes coming out like this one and Honda's Jet.

During the Viet Nam Era, while working in a wilderness area in the Intermountain West, our workers would hear 10-15 "booms" daily as aircraft probably headed for Viet Nam accelerated of the wilderness areas from western Co, WY and western MT and eastern WA! Interesting, but not intrusive.

@robwilton9539
@robwilton9539 10 месяцев назад
You have completely missed the point. The whole idea is to produce a supersonic aircraft that does not create a loud sonic boom. As a bonus, unlike the SST, it should not leak fuel all over the runway either.

767 miles per hour at sea level (Mach 1). The numbers varie considerably at higher altitudes. At 30,000 feet the plane has to be moving approximately 750 mi an hour or Mach 1.12 to get a sonic thud, ¡ ¿ Slower Yet Faster ! ?🤯 Nothing NASA is doing with the Sonic thud plane is simple 😅 . The numbers are just everywhere.

We’ve become to “afendable” as a country! So we have a sonic boom? I would rather get to where I need to be quickly than worried about a sonic boom made by a plane. To me this gives other countries the opportunity to try and steal this technology, as they are already! Also once they start making this plane big enough to carry passengers the boom will be back! I get trying to improve on technology, but there comes a time when to leave well enough alone!

It seems very long for carrying a single person. So it makes me wonder how huge it would have to be to carry a bunch of passengers. If they do make a commercial passenger plane, I'm guessing the cost will be outrageous per ticket. So I guess I'm wondering what is the real point to it? For rich men to save time flying long distance?
