Very nice, the way I make signs is to just print them on paper, then glue the paper on the sign with woodglue, and then paint over it with white so that you can just barely see the letters, and then paint the letters over that. This way you can trace the printed image! You can even do that with letters on a wall, just glue the printed text to the wall, and then texture over it, but make sure you can just see the letters so you can easily paint over them!
That's really a great technique, I have to keep that in mind. Really helpful and simple, strange that this doesn't came to my mind😅 thank you for that👍

😂 thanks a lot for your nice comment, gave me a good laugh 👍😅 I do love those movies and series too, I got stuck on the Normandy setting since them. All the early CoD parts weren't helpful there too. I wanted to try painting them, and as I said, they are not perfect but I prefer them this way over decals. Good luck for your project, what can go wrong. And it's "zum Adler"😉
