I suppose I have also watched the Americas Cup. Yet your enthusiasm has completely swayed me. I know look at these amazing vehicles in the same light as architecture or race engineering. what eSysman never states: the absolute enormous costs the arresting authorities will have to bear mooring and maintaining these leviathans of ships. Construction stopped in a shipyard? The liability of the construction costs falls on the government seizing. That uncompleted ship is sitting in a dry dock preventing the ship building company contructing another ship. Citizens of the country seizing that ship pay for this. So while everyone here is cheering these ships are getting seized, congrats, you're paying for them right now via your taxes. And again, I've been mentioning this for almost a year now. No one discusses. Oh, that $1 billion dollar ship, probably costs $100 Million + per year in upkeep too.

Thank you so much for your up to Date Reporting on Super yacht's. I hope all this taking of super yacht's does not effect the ship yards on builds. There are a lot of special craftsman who work these yards. If the super Rich, no matter what Country, slow down the work in these yards. The only people hurting by Arresting/Seizure, are the crews and special craftsman that build these vessels. It really doesn't effect the owners. They just won't put money into builds for a time. That means LAYOFF of shipyard workers. These super yacht build yards specialize in these types of super yacht's. Who else besides these Billionaires are going to have the money to spend on these mini cruise ships (Basically a private cruise ship for the very RICH) who else has the extra funds in there private accounts, to EGO chest puff, each other on showing off that "I" have a bigger one than you do. All these Taking of super yacht's just HURT the builders of these Beautiful huge vessels. You can just look at the off shore Energy sector, as a example, there are a TON of support vessels just sitting in the Gulf of Mexico US states, the Vessel's are all sitting in yards. When the last US Administration was in office. They were building them like crazy. Now with the current Administration moving away from OIL exploration off shore. The building and operating of these support vessels have STOPPED. Lots of ship yard workers LAY offs These yards like the super yacht building yards had special craftsman who specializes in those types of builds. No one ever talks about how the ship building is effected (it's work force)

If the location of the yacht that is being build is the same as the picture that is shown in the video the location probably is in Hamburg, Germany. The huge tent in the background is Dilbar , I was working in the shipyard for a while and its the Lurssen shipyard in Hamburg. Hope it helps.

Hello , what does one do with such a big boat ? I know but running a small house that it’s hard to take care of on my own I guess you would need a small army to look after such a big boat , and the loneliness of none is aboard, would feel scary , parry’s of free loader guests who do bad things and have no respect are the only company you would have , drugs I’m sure are rampant with alcohol and drunken behaviour , this is a floating sodom and Gomorrah which God will smite those sinners , praise the Lord thank you kindly all the best my friend ;)
