The US had private conversations with Israel before sending them more munitions to continue the bombardment of Gaza. The US has done everything they can to improve the humanitarian situation. /s
How's does Genocide work? So in Gaza the population had grown immensely in the last 10 years so Israel are very bad committing Genocide. Also if you have a so called government like Hamas who have a absolutely nothing to protect the Palestinians and basically fight among them then lives will be sadly be lost that shouldn't. Genocide is what's happened in Yemen; Syria; South Sudan and other countries who I sure you have protested for right? UN shuts up while hundreds of thousands are killed in many countries in what is real Genocide.
As a Muslim, Gulf countries alone can afford this, especially Qatar. I hope they fulfill this. I know Qatar already paid/pays 15 million dollars per month to Palestinian authorities in Gaza.
@@OlympicandTitanicis it corrupt to watch an occupying force brutalise and hold under siege the people you are charged to protect every single day and to sympathise with the one group willing to show resistance?
It is unequivocal that Israel has committed war crimes and it is currently on trial for genocide. Yet the US continues to supply and fund it. There's no suspension of 'aid' until investigations are complete and compliance is assured in that situation.
@@ubd1125 It's worse than that, both in terms of scale and volume of evidence. As it stands, 12 individuals out of an UNRWA workforce of 13,000 have been _accused_ by Israel of having links to the 7 October attack.

But insisting on sending billions of $ of weapons despite the evidence of IOF commiting hourly war crimes. The double standar, the hypocrisy. Evil empire.
@LukiaChan08 this country has so lil regard for other countries civilians lives, they call them "casualties" and "just apart of war", but they'd sing a different tune if it was in their backyard against them SubhaanAllah Allah is exposing the hypercrits and wrongdoers Alhamdulillah bring on end of days for all to be judged and reap their consequences InshaaAllah

What rubbish. The US funds UNRWA by like triple other nations. What's do Iran; South Africa etc contribute. People are crying for funding to the nation that is the supposed Evil. Stop being such hypocrites. Why don't the " protectors " of the Palestinians; Hamas not drive funding? Because they benefit from it so sit back and relax while innocent Palestinians are killed. @@roi3831 First, how can you accept the persecution of a people, deprive them of their most basic rights, and torture them and not expect a reaction from them? Secondly, how can you be certain that Hamas committed a war crime in the presence of evidence and from the words of the Israelis that the IDF killed more civilians than the resistance fighters?
@@zeeone4492 ah yes, the Nuremberg defense. Ironically Israel has a law against that setup during the Kafr Qasim massacre ruling in 1957. "The distinguishing mark of a manifestly illegal order is that above such an order should fly, like a black flag, a warning saying: 'Prohibited!' Illegality that pierces the eye and revolts the heart, if the eye is not blind and the heart is not impenetrable or corrupt." Sadly, not a single IDF soldier has been protected by their military court for refusing a 'black flag' command.
Stop providing food for a starving population because of some dubious acussation of a few employees, and at the same time keep providing weapons for an army being investigated by the ICJ of an ONGOING GENOCIDE. That's beyond despicable
@@Jon962-h4i What are you talking about? Gaza is a total shit-show! All the horrific aspects of humanity have come to dwell amongst the ruins. CUTTING OFF AID FOR HUMANITARIAN ASSISTANT IS LIKE A GOVERNMENT CUTTING OFF A BUDGET TO A HOSPITAL BECAUSE A NURSE UNLIVED A FEW BABIES. CRUEL AND AGAIN PUNISHING THOSE, WHO ARE ALREADY BEEN PUNISHED BY A WHOLE STATE FOR SOMEONE ELSE'S CRIMES,. IS COLLECTIVE PUNISHMENT A CRIME.
Money to UNRWA goes directly to Billionaire Hamas leaders. Where did their net worth of 11Billion $ came from? Why don't they help? There must be another way to send aid to Gaza
@CivilizationInNation please provide proof of this because I have searched online for evidence and haven't found any sound evidence. Just some hearsay sites which are probably idf propaganda channels
So then by your own actions, when police violence occurs in America & it's always just a few bad apples, should u not defund that police department until a full investigation is completed, 🤔
This is obviously an excuse… what proof is there such employees existed. Even if they did, 8 people shouldn’t be responsible for a decision that affects millions. it doesn’t add up!
Because they don’t make money off cutting off weapons. U.S. makes money by spreading death war and destruction and endless cycles of violence which creates markets for weapons.
have people forgot that the #1 hunter of Terr-orist is the USA? over here funding a Group of Desert Cultist is a felony. IE its illegal to do. the USA legally cannot fund UNWRA that's just the Ham Rats Media And Procurement Office.

Increasing medicine, and yet many women who giving birth without painkiller and child who got amputated without anesthetic. Did they use those anesthetic for themselves?
Exactly! The US has done nothing to assure that the appropriate aid and enough of it has been allowed into Gaza. They have done absolutely nothing but supply more weapons and support for the Israeli genocide against Palestinians in Gaza. The governments cutting critical aid right now, while supporting a genocide, make me sick.

What has UNRWA potentially having a very few number of bad apples, got anything to do with stopping tinned food from getting to starving women and children in Gaza, should have been the question asked.
12 employees out of 13,000. 8 of whom have already been fired. So cutting aid is the appropriate action? If UNRWA had actually as an organisation been involved in terror, this ation would have been appropriate.
I cannot see the reasoning and logic of this decision that could starve millions of lives, just because of a dozen of rogue people out of ten thousands. This is what you call, collective punishment, done by the US and their crooked allies.
It's hilarious that he says "we want to see accountability" when speaking about unrwa but when it's about israel committing war crimes "well we brought that issue up with israel" or " those accusations are unfounded" So when it is israel, the accountability goes right out of the window. Nice to see such blatant double standards
i know i keep seeing obese people in gaza with tons of pack animals. but they say they have been starving for 3 months with no water or food or meds. strange how that's impossible.
His slip of the mask when he smirks at 12 out of 12,000 employees, as if there's joy to be had in cutting aid, starving millions, and hoping they die out.
UNWRA has taken the most definate and serious action possible in response based on Israel's allegation, as well as sacking those staff even before the was solid evidence, it has correctly past it on the United Nations to carry out an official investigate. Investigation will take time, people need food and medical aid now. Financial support can now recommence, as UNWRA has no long term funds, or does the USA, UK and the other nations do not trust the United Nations.
@@mfundomkhonta7500Well, Israel presented the names of Hamas members but it just turned out to be the name of days on an Arabic calendar 🤷🏻♀️ make of that what you will
@@mfundomkhonta7500 names mean nothing ...what should be required is actual evidence to back up those serious accusations, funds should not have been stopped without that evidence in the first place. @@zoe_blackmore Open your eyes. Hundreds of miles of sophisticated tunnel systems have been built under Gaza by Hamas. The Gazan economy has always been in the toilet due to the Israeli blockade. The Palestinians haven't been having a whip round at the local mosque to pay for that little lot. That's theft on an industrial basis and the irony is that Hamas has been showing it all off in PR films!
This guy is being asked about whether two million people are being starved to death and all the while he has a smirk on his face. He couldn't care less.
He clearly enjoys it very much. The same way a normal person feels about holding their newborn baby is how he feels about toddlers in Gaza starving to death.
Matthew Miller didn't explain why the US cut off funding to UNRWA. He made the opposite case, stating that UNRWA does important work and that more rather than less aid should be getting to Palestinians in the midst of what he calls a dire humanitarian situation. He seemed to be implying (without actually saying) that cutting off aid was to pressure the UN to investigate, but he doesn't actually explain why "pressure" of that kind was necessary. The whole thing looks really sleazy.
You would think that they would wait for the conclusion of the investigation to make a decision not to send aid to the people who are currently being starved to death. Also why cut aid on the day the ICJ ruling came out. There is no humanity in governments.
Ironically, they pull funding for UNRWA based on "accusations", yet send more assistance to IDF and Israeli military after they are found guilty of committing genocide. can't make this stuff up smh
Don't forget what UNRWA stands for or why it was created - The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees. UNRWA helps mostly Gazans who are the original refugees of the 1948 Nakba (read ethic cleansing by Israel to create their state). Given how much Palestinians rely on UNRWA for food, water, healthcare, medicine, education & more - cutting off funding is tantamount to collective punishment, which is a war crime - especially as the US is colluding, supporting & supplying arms to the state charged with plausibly committing a genocide. All while the US government completely ignores its own people. These are dark days for democracy. I imagine I'd quit before I'd sell my soul & integrity to those who cannot even condemn the murder tens of thousands of children & women. How do these stooges go home & face their families?
So much Hamas propaganda in the BS you wrote. UNRWA get caught with 1200 teachers and 6000 family relatives being involved in Hamas and you think they are doing good. Really? Go on line do the research before trying to sound informed.
@@wannenburgg no reasonable person condones the attack on 7.10 This is not the focus of my comment. Hamas was elected in 2006 so all anyone currently below the age of 18 didn’t vote ie half the civilian population. What’s your answer?
@loughs yes, I do. They are complicit. Tell me how I can build 500km of tunnels under houses and Noone saw anything? How do you colonise rhe basement of hospitals, schools and amenities and build rockets under them. Perhaps Arab countries need to step up and fund their endeavors. All I have seen is hate for the West that provides them with all of their goods. But anyway why are people refugees from 1948???
I wonder how much accountability there is for the BILLIONS of dollars the US gives to Israel. I wonder if there is anyone in the US government who will call for an accounting of our taxpayer money we have given to Israel past and present.
Yes. I heard a UNRWA spokesperson say that, despite having seen no evidence of guilt, they fired these employees pre-emptively to avoid losing the support they need during such a desperate time for the 2 million people in Gaza. The US State Department is using this as an excuse to cut off aid to UNRWA. I'm unaware of any UN agency ever having lost financial support because of some of its employees' alleged misconduct or criminality. I think this is the first time.
First, this guy smiled when he heard famine and starvation. Who does that? 2nd one of the UN UNRWA people said they received no evidence at all they terminated those people's contracts immediately to prevent any compromise in the funding which ended up happening anyway. I doubt that I know this better than him so his answer is very very deceptive. Finally cutting off aid from a starving population is simply criminal. How do these people sleep at night?
