The United States is going to pay for flights and offer other help to Panama to remove migrants under an agreement signed Monday, as the Central American country’s new president has vowed to shut down the treacherous Darien Gap used by people traveling north to the United States. For the most part, intelligence assets don't just land on your doorstep. If the United States wanted to gather as much intelligence as possible on say Venezuela, It is possible that by allowing 50,000 Venezuelans to "sneak in" you can then gather what information you need about the country. You can call the United States stupid all you want, you aren't hurting anybody's feelings. Don't you find it odd that there have been Chinese people have been sneaking across the US/Mexican border? If i mailed $5 to panama to feed a hungry family the headline would read "U.S. citizen offers money to help to migrants in Panama." I could see were the United States might offer a family some assistance but it is disingenuous to simply write "US to pay for flights to help Panama remove migrants heading north" For all we know, 6-7 people received humanitarian aid. Beyond that your headline is to vague and offers no indication of limitations of this aid. FALSE ALARM FOLKS, go back to what you were doing.

I used to get migrant crisis stories daily in my RU-vid feed, then all of a sudden all migrant and crime news stopped. I wonder if it has anything to do with the upcoming election and if millions of others have had their feed similarly scrubbed. I like these stories and I want them in my timeline to keep abreast of what is happening in my country. Hiding the truth and stories does nothing to help anyone.

Arn't they violating Panamas law by crossing the border illegally as well? While I understand that they may be transiting through your country but shouldn't Panama also be concerned about its own southern border? I think a joint effort to protect the southern borders would benefit us both but without the cost of flying people back.
