More importantly, give a future path so they understand that this candidate has planned out his life. This was the take away, I'm taking away from this video.
Immigrant: "breathes". Visa gets rejected. BTW they will never reject your student visa, since it's bringing money into their economy. The H1B is when they'll show their true colors.
You could have tried to ask her questions like 'How do you guys decide to reject a candidate' or 'Do you have a certain number of rejections which you must make every year'. Though I doubt she would have answered them straight.
He should have asked her critical stuff like in the movie "the dictator". Stuff like "does USCIS inefficiencies cause indentured labor-like situations for immigrants". "Are you aware of the revenue that immigrants bring to the US economy", then why do "Indian immigrants deserve this treatment"
I'm writing this from New York 5 months after watching this video for the first time. When I was in Paraguay, I remember looking for videos to prepare myself for the interview at the embassy, and this video definitely helped me a lot throughout that process.
Biggest tip: this is not an interview! Its a matter of showing documents for international travel. That's it. Like you would show your ration card to get groceries. Stop being insecure. Stop being doormats. We've a culture of fear and insecurity.
@@castletheperson It doesn't matter what it is called. Who started calling it? You can call it an interview strictly from a definition standpoint and although there is an acceptance/rejection in this matter it is just about showing your documents and giving details on your stay. It's not a test. People enter the embassy scared and leave scared. They're afraid that their visa will get rejected if they don't adhere to a certain script. We've a culture of fear which must end.
To be fair it is an interview, and they are very less likely to reject student visas because you're basically bringing money into their economy. The H1B and OPT and when you actually start earning money is when they show their true colors.
I don't know why, but part2 was something which was more interesting than part1..... Thank you Yudi, I have my interview scheduled in a couple of weeks time and this series will help in many ways
@@YudiJ Why didn't you asked her 'How do you guys decide to reject a candidate'? or 'Do you have a certain number of rejections which you must make every year'?
Thank you Yudi! For providing such valuable content to everyone planning to study in the US! You have always been helpful in providing tips for all the student's! Hope I can meet you when I come to US but first let's hope I am able to get a visa slot right now...❤️
She is smart almost giving same answers and not telling the real truth I feel she know the secrets and always think of that and frame her answers according to that
"Thank you Emily" for all the insights about VISA Interview. A very BIG thank you to Yudi Bro for this series on VISA Interview related questions, myths. Keep Smiling and Keep Hustling.
Actually, the immigration officers are cool and we make them nervous and after all we will be nervous..... trust yourself......But it's a nice session Yudi ...keep going with useful sessions like this...
Honestly, she’s so beautiful that if she had to interview me, I wouldn’t even be nervous. I’d just enjoy the conversation with confidence and comfort. I’d just be able to look at her all the time because of her look, and my history tells me I’ll have no problem.
This lady doesn’t want to tell anything. She is just telling the same same thing keep relax keep relax.not telling the real fact what actually happen in interview
your question were diverse , meaningful, and informative but she really didn't answer your questions. but I really appreciate all the time, efforts you put into these wonderful, worthy questions. thank you bro. you have a good day.
It's because they are very politically oriented while issuing visas. They are less likely to reject student visas because you're basically bringing money into their economy. The H1B and OPT and when you actually start earning money is when they show their true colors. The student life is basically a honeymoon period from a visa perspective.
Watching this video a week before my interview. Got some real insights. Goin' to face the embassy next week in Dhaka Bangladesh. In Sha Allah. Will get approved If Allah want.
She is gorgeous. I was so lucky to hit a nice one like her when got my F1 .9 years passed I am still in the US🤗.America is the best country man ever created.
THANK YOU EMILY !!! Good & very informative video & valueable info from Emily's side. One topic missed again, for a gap year case," what you did since then ?",
Thank you for the video. I will get an appointment tomorrow. Wish I could pass it. it is hard for recent months for a Chinese international student who is going to study abroad.
How about for someone that has been out of school for a long time, 32 years old now and only has a high school diploma and ready to go back to school: How does he meet the first criteria the lady talked about ? Does he needs to start an online course for one year or six month, refresh his memory, get a little certificate from the online course to add extra point to himself ? My question is: how does he meet that first criteria ?
Notice how she kept giving answers like be honest and state how you truly feel, while that's good general advice observe that her answers don't in any way maximize your chances of being cleared but rather help her judge you better ( cause you're being honest ).
Born china but present citizen of USA national working in US visa office in Mumbai (counter no. 33 & 34) rejecting US visa to Indian students under F1 code. Need serious action against them.
@@bhaskarreddy9109 I had faced that issue once. Talk to the DSO at your university and find out what is happening. Sometimes there is a delay in updating the SEVIS record and my case it took 6 weeks before they could clear it up and I was granted visa.
It's a time to be more flexible as Universities as countries if they want big business from India. Many big counties have now changed their rules for visitors, students and even the PR. Now money is needed by countries as business impacted and created shortage of workers even. The sooner they relax rules is better for them.
Having relatives in US means rejection of f1 visa?? My parents applied for tourist visa 5 years back to attend my mom's cousin weeding ... If the visa officer asks me about relatives what should I say.. No or yes? Should I lie.. Do they have all thr records of past 5 years??
They know everything, better not lie, and just clarify that you'll return back after your course completion and have no plans to stay beyond your graduation
Every student visa applicant know to about giving honest answer. Madam didn't mention about what answer is expected from a student & what short of answer from student might end up with rejection.
I have a question on B1/B2 Visa. My parents' B1/B2 visa got cancelled at London Port of entry, they are reapplying for visa. What care we should take so that the visa doesnt get rejected?
Do the visa officers know if a family member has filed immigration petition (I 130) for the applicant ?Do they have a system where they can look it up or just based on the answer in DS 160 question Yes or NO. Will the visitor visa be refused based on that.
I have a question İn my university documents I got my İ-20 with my sponsor my Uncle, Now I Found money by myself, CAN İ GO TO İNTERVİEW WİTH MY BANK STATEMENT? OR DO I HAVE TO GO WİTH MY SPONSORS WHERE I SHOWED HİS STATEMENT ON İ-20
1) didn't understand the summary of getting back to India after masters or doing job over there in usa? 2) Didn't get that 16 years education required or 15 is sufficient? Can anyone or Yudi answer me this??❤️
Hey my kids and my X r in U S and i want to see my kids but i got rejected many times i dont know why now can i get visa and they should tell the reason of rejection so that next time we can improve that or we will not try again it really hurts and and we say that dont be nervous but then also we r very nervous we cant help
Does already having a H1B visa stamping at the time of F1 visa interview cause any problem in getting the visa approved? For example if the H1B holder decides to go for higher education like PhD program or MD program, will it be problamatic to transfer to F1 visa, should he get the H1B canceled by the employer before going to the F1 interview, or its okay?
got 1 dead backlog 1st year ( cleared that sub) in 1st year now I'm in 4th year will i clear the eligibility criteria will dead backlogs matter in big companies like amazon sde, cisco , microsoft or ms in us top 20 universities

Hey Yudi, I've applied for only one college and i got the admit and i20 as well. I just dont want to waste few more bucks on applying for other colleges just for sake of Visa. Is it very important to apply for minimum 4-5 colleges like everyone else? Kindly help
Well you need to answer as why only this university. What's so special about this university. And, why it was your first choice. Formulate some answers and please avoid the money aspect (fees and all) as it will make VO suspicious.
Got my whole family with B1/B2 visa year 2019 then travelled once to New york that same year. Then had our 2nd daughter Dec. 2019 and later applied her visa just this year. The officer collected all our passports but so unfortunate when it came back our visas were cancelled. Wonder why was that and now unsure if we gonna try again.
Anyone trying to renew Indian passport from USA? CKGS website says its contract is ending by October 31st and are no longer accepting new applications. Please share any information regarding how to apply
