Absolutely stunning how the USA took each of there opponents out 3-0 from the quarter finals to finals!! This game USA defenses were undeniably the best in the world completely stopping Boskovic which hasn’t ever really been stopped like that before!

What an amazing run for this USA squad. This was the Dream Team. With the exception of a bad loss to Russia, everyone up and down the roster played well. Hopefully they can repeat in Paris, but the team needs someone who will fill the role of Bartsch-Hackley at OH. Plummer still isn’t quite there yet. Not sure about Frantti. Maybe Lanier or Bajema but this is the biggest question mark for the team going forward.

Mihajlovic absence is felt here. Bosko has no counterpart. US is superb in all aspect. Almost perferctly executed their game plan. Kudos to Coach Kiraly🎉

Foluke Akinradewo was really the missing link of USA last 2016 Olympics in Semi-Finals against Serbia. USA won the 1st set against Serbia with Foluke, but if I am not mistake she has an injury so she was replaced from 2nd set. Congrats USA on your revenge and Finally the first ever Gold Medal for USA Women’s Volleyball in Olympics after many Runner-up finishes.

Rusia pudo vs USA porque desequilibró su perfecto pase con los servicios de Fedorotseva y Voronkova y su gran bloqueo, además Goncharova jugó súper bien, a diferencia de vs Brasil que ya tenían para ganarles 2-0, era la oportunidad de Rusia de ir por el oro y la desaprovecharon.
