I know this game is nostalgic and all, but this game is just as mess and because of that it sucks. - Even in today's computers, it lags terribly, - you set the speed to max, save, quit out, load, and the speed is reset to default, - obviously, based on the video, the enemy refuses to attack and just wants to stack their forces in a corner, - the enemy is very vigorous when attacking in the beginning, but their attacks dwindle as the game goes on, and they don't attack with that many forces, - this has been a common problem with RTS games and is made very apparent with this one - I like to mock the enemy by destroying their base, except for key buildings that they need to reconstruct, problem is they don't or don't reconstruct to before which makes them useless enemies. There's a bunch more problems that I can't remember. The only RTS game that has a consistent difficulty all throughout is Rise of Nations, and I wish that for every remaster and every new RTS game (if we ever get one) has the same consistency.
This is my go to strategy against multiple ai as well. Turtle in your base until they run out of funds. I don't go against multiple hard ai tho. I like being chill

if expanding their AI by building more than one Nuclear Silo, then this game will be impossible to win. Luckily one faction only made 1 Nuclear Silo. Great Game Anyway. Hope this game have Remastered Version.
I miss playing this game. I first played this in 2004 on my Compaq PC. I last played this on my Intel Macbook Pro 15 in 2019. Then developer could not support it when Mac transitioned to 64Bit Apps. I am still waiting and hopeful for any developer to make this game playable on Apple silicon.

Great video. I have a quick question. I like the strat of using the combat Chinooks with one sniper and rocket soldiers, but I wonder why you added in the Apaches. They seem to all get wasted if there is any anti-air and the chinooks just seem not to need them. Thanks.

Use your raptors for guarding the base from above, remember you are an Air Force General, raptors and other aircraft are in low prices, spam it. Give them an air show, sky is your domain.
I use stealth fighters for defense even though their missiles are geared more for bunkers than advancing enemies since enemy ai usually take out Raptors like it's nothing

The way the T-55 tanks explode with the turret and dome flying is so accurate considering this game was created 20 years ago! You can clearly see that in the Ukraine war. 😂
Oh wow I totally forgot what I was missing in Zero Hour. I can't get it to work on any of my 4 computers no matter what. Each installation vanilla generals works fine, but Zero hour won't start. Different hardware, 1 is W11 and 3 W10, and each time I just get a black screen for a second before being back at my desktop.

AI is weak on this one... I mean what stops them from flaying planes from the water side? also, the tanks being stuck on on bottle neck was a gletch .. if you're playing against real people this strategy would have failed I think .. Otherwise, I like the build up
I like US Air Force very much as well....want i like to do is to take oil plattforms and bring a bulldozer to expland my base on the grounds of a former enemys base....just air fields, baracks and power plants plus protection...

It's too bad EA purchased C&C... there is still such a big cult following to this IP and EA is just letting it slowly die. It's too bad they didn't do something like Starcraft II. But I know for a fact that if EA ever did release another C&C game it would be to milk the playerbase. It's sad to see it happen to such a beloved IP.

Most of the time I use super weapons to destroy the super weapons of enemies! Because if I don't destroy them before they try to hit my base, I'm done for! 😅

this is the game i prefer out of the whole set yet when i try to download it never loads properly so wont play!!!! i even tried my hard copy n it wont play either!!! i can play every other ea game in the whole set but generals/zero hour!!!! ive sent messages to ea about this with no response!!!

hi dude, if you want play single player, select skirmish mode in single player and you can make AI teammates or enemies for yourself, if you want play online multiplayer you have to use gameranger app on pc, this game is so old. it doesn't have official online servers

Very stupid strategy of this player like USA Air Force ! I also played USA Air Force 20 years ago and now I would destroy this player in exactly 15 minutes. If you want to be invincible with the USA Air Force, then you have to play with a lot of fighters and helicopters. I always did a minimum of 6 airports. Good luck !
