USA Dance - Los Angeles County Chapter #4031, holds a social dance each month at the Veterans Memorial Auditorium at Culver City. We are members. This dance was on Memorial Day weekend. Even with about 200 attending, the smooth line-of-dance on this large floor felt spacious. The four hours of dancing was a real work out. The large dance floor was polished. Most importantly, the dancers all had a great time.
This dance venue has a really good DJ. We love to dance to this song, Dark Waltz - Hayley Westenra. We first heard this song in a standard slow waltz performance by the inspirational Christopher Hawkins ten years ago. I can no longer find that link in RU-vid, so I may post that dance at our future web site at some point - mariatonydance.com.
