Hi Aladi Akoh, I've been follwoing your channel and I appreciate the work you are doing. I have a question, my is pertaining to the fact that I was denied an F-1 visa on the 30th of december 2019 under section 214band my school resumption date is on the 30th of January 2020. Is it advisable to apply for an interview on the 17th of January which is next available date ?
Agreed. Aladi, we are proud of you and your dynamic channel. You are among a fortunate minority. Recently, the majority of Nigerian students are failing their U.S. student visa interviews at an astronomical rate as you are aware. At some point a video on why the U.S. Government should address the issues with the changes to its U.S. student visa process would be helpful as we would like to see more Aladis not less😀.
Aladi Akoh , things have change with the President tightening security and all that. In fact the case of too much rejection even came up on aljezeera for discussion There was even a guy (from Saudi Arabia) who got a visa n when he got to the states and was deported back after the officers at the airport checked his papers Guess where he was going- HARVARD
For me, the university I applied to clearly stated that GRE/TOELF wasn’t a requirement because English is an official language in Nigeria. I hope this will not be an issue
Hi Aladi Akoh, I just got refused for my F1 visa interview this Friday in Ghana. I have an admission to study at Georgia State University this summer...kindly help
I just subscribed to your channel, I followed u from Akinyi's channel (the little girl) I would like us to collab and show some nice content development strategy together showing America and Nigeria to the world. We would plan the content and edited the videos together and post to tell our stories from different side of the world . let me know what you think
I have been given an offer by one US university and now I have to apply for student visa (F-1). But I have applied for diversity visa lottery as well before I decide to apply for my PhD. Will it be a problem in the interview? If yes? what can I do? Please give me a solution
Hi, You can check out this video where I talked about the required documents for the visa interview: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-JC_9-6i77_E.html Don’t be nervous, just be calm and answer your questions confidently. Best wishes for your visa interview.
For my part, I didn't have enough time to prepare because of some personal issues. But right now I'm going for the second, and my task is the prove your family ties thing. Unlike the guy in the video, I don't have a wife and also I have a brother n and my mom in the state and worse of all my mom has filed for me. Now how on earth will ....hmmm You know what I mean.
I know right, this is serious! I really don’t know what to say about this because it’s complicated.😐 You really do need to prepare a solid answer for home ties. Best wishes for your next visa interview.
What do you expect ?😂 Your mother filing for you is already an indication that you are immigrating so applying for student visa is like a contrast because it's a non immigrant visa you see I knew what was going to happen before I got there But right now non immigrant visas are very hard to get Tourism and students and bla bla So if you really wana go study abroad, just prepare well and with God you wish will come to pass That day I could see most of the people going for non immigrant visas were rejected and I could tell they didn't prepare well (I heard whatever they were asked and the answers they gave) . About 90% It was sad....and funny altogether But there nothing to fear, just prepare and all will be well And don't forget God😊
