She beat you fair and square. Does she need your respect after you got beaten? With so many fans behind her I think you are just jealous and sore. Hope she stays rent free in your small mind.
Navarro's country, the US Imperialist psychopath country is a sore loser who has a thousand military bases the world over and thousand guns aiming at everybody and it respects nobody either.
I'm an American and this seems to be very embarrassing. When you lose fair and square, then suck it up and congratulate the winner. Learn from your mistakes and come back to win next time. Very sore loser.
Emma, that is very poor on your part. If you don't respect Qinwen she certainly beat you to earn that respect. Qinwen's competitiveness seems to be going up a level in this Olympic. Emma had her chances to win this match but it was Qinwen who stood tall at the end of the match, overcame adversity, winning match. She just won her semi against Swiatek coming down from 0:4 down winning the next 7 out of 8 games. Well done Qinwen.
To be fair, Emma did call her the better player. How come you leave that out? Why? Because the news just wants to sensationalize things. Emma definitely could've gone about this differently but to leave out parts where she credited Zheng for playing great tennis is left out.
Your opponent is allowed to have an opinion. Your opponent is allowed to have emotions and cry. Your opponent is allowed to loose. You and your opponent are both human. They don't need our approval and have perhaps grown in more ways than what we actually see.
This seems to be a pattern from US athletes towards Team China one... Pan Zhanle interviewed after his world record men's 100m freestyle swimming race: "... In the first day after 4x100 relay, I was greeting to CHALMERS, but he ignored me, including Team USA's ALEXY. When we were training, our coach was by the pool, He jumped into the water right in front of our coach & splashed water at him. My feeling was they look down on us, can I say that? Finally today I have beaten them all. Especially when swimming in a pool with such a hard condition, breaking the world record was really a good performance."
I feel like the West have always enjoyed the comfort of being on top, being looked up. But now, the people who they think are at the bottom (example Asia or Africa) are competing with them and even defeating them. They don't like being challenged, they don't like having to dig deep because, how dare us, we are supposed to be inferior than them. The world is changing, they better get used to the new world.
Disgraceful thing to say just because you lost a game. How should a player behave when coming in to a match if not the 'cut throat' way? Lame, weak, submissive, non-threatening, jovial, courteous, helpful?
Bad look for Emma. All I saw was a fierce competitor in Zheng. Someone who fought off defeat and turned it around big time. Shake hands and walk away, Emma. Get her next time.
Navarro does not respect any athletes who approach a match in a cut-throat way? So she must disrespect most athletes in the US team! Please stop being a billionaire's spoiled kid and grow up. Now I think most tennis fans disrespect her.
Thats poor form... Goes to show money cannot buy class and character. Congratulations to Zhang for the gold medal. Ignore the haters, they are hurting themselves with carring so much bitterness in their hearts.
If Navarro does not consider Zheng a competitor, well, she lost to a no competitor. How low is she then? I like Zheng's response, "... I do not consider it an attack, she just lost the match." Exactly, she is 100% loser.
@@hskujama I'm sooo happy for Qinwen! She's been a favorite of mine for a couple of years now. Glad she is doing so well. She is the Jade Queen, tennis warrior and a nice person >:-)
Zheng won the gold medal today, with style and grace. Just thought you should know. She was superior in all aspects of the game against Vekic, from Croatia. The American... No one remembers her anymore.
Now the Chinese player won the Gold medal, do people really have to be nasty to others to feel better. Sport and competition is supposed to be inspirational to human race. Let us not to spoil that.
Losing cn be honourable. But appears dat some american atheletes dont know abt sportsmanship n good behaviour. Its a shame dey bring dsrepute to their country whch is losing credibility evn in d geopolitical sphere.
All the Americans have been doing throughout these Olympics is crying and complaining. Dear Americans, the world is changing and fast, get used to losing because there's a lot more of that coming your way in the very near future.
what she said was "I want u to not enjoy ur win cuz I need u to feel small as a Chinese person hearing from me an American woman that I need u to be sweet to me and be nice to me and be so little to me for me to feel big so I can win - the fact u won only meant u only won by I didnt feel big enough so I couldnt win u - only if u made me big then I would have won then u would never have won - so dont celebrate ur win cuz u only won by me being small by u".
apparently she compared their fan base and said how she lost was due to the fact in locker room she was put in a situation where she felt "blank" (such as feeling "less") -- and given how the locker room situation happened bleeding to the court, she inevitably would lose hence she needed to tell the person she doesnt respect her -- no one needed her to feel little she gets effected its ok just means she didnt receive enough training to calm herself but to tell another person that what happened translates to "I dont respect u" means u dont even know what the word respect is - u didnt have to like the Chinese woman but u ought to respect her - she won u by a lot, u r just not good enough if ur parents taught u to be less arrogant and more fair to others then u probably would have been more calm then u would have played better - blame ur own upbringing being a failure at age 23
Move on and show sportsmanship in the Olympic spirit - life’s short we all have our wons and losses! Zhang won. Had Zhang lost she would have shook hands and congratulated you. Greetings from Ireland
Congrat to Zheng for gold. True sportsmanship is to accept losses with grace. Respect is earned. wtf does "cut-throat" mean anyway for a non-contact sport? Should Zheng had bowed? lol
There is used to be a lot of goodwill towards the Americans. Since the so called containing China strategy, I think the Americans are mis-led by their politicians. The purpose of the Olympics games are to build peace and friendship, so behave according to that belief!
imagine the face of Navarro when Qinwen won the gold medal 😂😂😂👑👑👑🤩🤩🤩 Herzlich Glückwunsch meine Königin 👑 !! My queen!! My one and only Queen!! U r a promising rising star 🌟 🤩 ✨️ 😎 u literally made my day!!❤❤🎉🎉
The American player treated the Chinese player with disrespect but most of the comments here have no respect for the USA, what does it tells you. Go China.
