And you are dumb if you think Taiwan is part of China since 1600s because back then those who are now in Taiwan ruled over China, but do they claim that mainland China is Taiwan? No, because they arent insane. China invaded and killed thousands of Tibetans (who didnt even have guns) for their own gain (geostrategical). Everything is documented, even if China would love to erase this part from history.

China should wait for the economic collapse in the next few months, then they should offer to buy Taiwan back from US - it would be expensive but less expensive than war..They would want to also include a staged relocation of the micro-ship maker the US depends on. The West is only concerned about the chip factories there.

In what world does the U.S. assuring Taiwan of it's defense in the case of Chinese attack in the context of Chinese aggressive posturing become a provocation for China to attack? In a normal world the statement of Taiwan's defense would be seen as a warning NOT to attack. It must be that any rational warning is a perceived as a show of dominance and thus the narrative becomes that it is a dare requiring China to call the U.S.'s bluff (since only China can be dominate in it's mind). Then, cleverly, China doesn't "take the bait" - meaning it backs down but does a one-up-manship on the mind-control front (aka propaganda spin). This, is, of course, distinct from standing down in the face of the U.S. warning. School children play like this.

@@costa4545 Actually, you still need naval experience, not matter how advanced your weaponry is. I was in the Navy for 12 years. Things are not as simple as just pressing a button and launching missiles. That's just for movies and just keeps it simple for civilians. In any case, the reason why I think China would lose solo in a naval war vs the U.S., is due in large part to how surrounded China is close to their border. USA's military influence is too close, with bases in Japan, Korea, Philippines, etc. Think about it. China can't even reclaim Taiwan, and that is in their own backyard. That would be like the U.S. not being able to claim Hawaii (even though its much farther compared to Taiwan). This is why China lacks naval experience, they are somewhat trapped within their zone. Whereas the US has too much free ocean space to build their naval might. Realistically, the war is lost from the start. Respectfully. Not saying it would be easy, of course. But if Russia joined, that would certainly complicate things.
