Spain was very good, had multiple nba stars on the teams, but this game was very poorly officiated in favor of Spain, bunch of calls and no calls, favoring spain, this game shouldn't have been close, US beat them earlier in the tournament by almost 40, poor officials kept spain close in this one

I know...if only the refs had called it both ways in the first half. Lost count of how many times a US player absolutely body-checked a Spanish player and the foul was called on the Spanish guy. That's standard for the NBA but not for FIBA.

@@conflicto7575 lol wade shots before the 4thquarter were useless when kobe didnt make 3 or 4 big shots both threees and two pointers.. the spain team could tie the score if bryant didnt make that shots.. hav u seen it only got 4 lead until bryant made the big shot three followed by wade but then bryant again both beast in offense and defense afterwards..he understand the game so much.. the 4 th quarter is the most important qaurter in basketball..kobe was a hero in this game, saving the team from possible comeback of spaiin

He scored the most points for a reason and barely missed a shot. If you actually watch the game the starting line up was looking lost against Spain in the first half....whenever d wade would check in he got them back into the game. Watch before you type...im sure you only watched the 4th quarter when kobe hit the 3 and now you just say he was the best player

The big problem is Colangelo He needed, like this team or 2012 or even that weak but still undefeated 2016 team, an actual Center The starting lineup should be: C - Myles Turner PF - Bam Adebayo SF - Kevin Durant SG - Bradley Beal PG - Jrue Holiday Dame, Tatum, Draymond should be first off the bench as, in order, offensive energy, post defense/scoring to slow the tempo, defensive energy and fast paced movement when on a run Julius Randle, Devin Booker/Trae Young (similar usage to how he was in the All Star game, but also would solely be a passer unless needed to make the big shot to spark a run) and Nerlens Noel should be in for situational purposes Jerami Grant...I guess just to be there The team they have now is filled with iso players, players that aren't gonna win a ring because they're style over substance (Dame, Tatum, Lavine, Beal)...I thought 2016 was like this but they had Deandre Jordan and Klay Thompson and Jimmy Butler to balance things out (having Lowry, PG and Derozan instead of playmaking depth was such a terrible idea at the time for me, but it worked out somehow, maybe it was Coach K)
