I think part of why the British side lost is because the players were using the tanks too aggressively. Most British tanks are meant to act as sniper tanks and aren't meant for brawling. If the players on the British side were smart, they would've concentrated their Churchill tanks to fight the Jumbos. At the end of the day, it really just comes down to the player and how they use a vehicle.

I gotta admit, I love these comparison videos, but round 3 continues to be completely abused by lower tier or meme vehicles that really don't help the team at all. :(
I’m going to limit it to just the actual tank vehicles moving forward. I though I could have it so participants could use vehicles of lower BR’s that would actually be helpful but I agree that rank comparison needs to stay within rank from now on.
@@ThunderWithMuffin that would probably be for the best as while some could be theoretically useful, like the T29-30 we saw, they were still in the place of a significantly better tank. The most egregious being the Light AA which is like a 1.3 vehicle. Other than that, I do really enjoy the series and I'm looking forward to what spin-offs of it we get.

really need to do this series again without cas, especially in that last round it just became a CAS fight. lot of smaller trees are going to struggle with that espeically against america since every american ground player is really just a cas main
the british choosing the churchill in the 2nd round is a very poor choice tbh. It works in normal matches because it usually faces things in the 4.0 BR range. but it's not going to be effective against anything in the 5.0+ BR range. Those 76 shermans will eat it for breakfast, whereas the churchill will struggle even with a normal sherman, let alone a jumbo. All in all the british lineup in that BR range is simply not good at brawling whereas the US is never better at brawling. If they had the centurion mk 1 and/or mk 2 they would've probably done a lot better however.
Literally, the challengers and comets wouldn't have been the ultimate choice and never bring bombers unless it's Lancaster. Tho, the British team weren't smart on dealing with the jumbos
Straight lies tbh the Stuarts are no better than the other Tanks at their BR in the British tree. The Sherman is a solid 3.7 but it's not better than the Cromwell's etc just a good alternative. The Firefly is British anyway, regardless of the hull it is on. Britain really doesn't get that much American equipment for ground (and almost all the US planes it gets are premiums and are just better for CAS than fighters)
Tbh this was an obvious win for the USA, as a uk main our tech tree is absolutely abysmal, and gajin genuinely has something against us becuase they make every single one of our vehichles complete dogshit, it’s really depressing
Especially when you compare by rank. US has 4-5 5.7 br in rank 3 as opposed to Britain's 2 5.3s, neither of which are at all optimal. That's not even mentioning APHE nukes vs APDS
Britain is really just fucked against Jumbos since the APDS nerf. It either shatters or just doesn't penetrate the UFP even at perfect angles sometimes. And hitting the weakspots doesn't do much when you only have solid shot to work with.

While im Germany/Sweden/Sweden main, i have great respect for the spits and near to none for the us planed. Spitfire pilots are built different, they are elite out of elite, always fun to dogfight against!

Jumbo isn't so hard to kill I've killed so many as a USSR main and if u can't pen the upper front plate then shoot the lower plate or the turret cheeks, turret ring, machine gun port and some times the sides of the upper front plates depending on the angle that is, Is-1 can easily punch through a Jumbo if the person is experienced enough
The problem is the spectator file I get when hosting the events and not having the actually player replay file. Unfortunately I ask for them but very few people don’t send them. The replay files from the players view works a lot better to get the actual player perspective but to get that I need all of them from everyone.
USA won second match because jumbo is made very unrealistically in war thunder and since USA has buffed armor, engines, guns etc in war thunder its really unfair
My vote before watching the video American armor is useless against British APDS so if Americans take only light vehicles and flank the British they'll win M18 will be the tank of match

Are strategic bombers with very large bombs banned? I didn't see any Lancs even though there was a Sterling. Though I guess that would make for a fairly dull video if it was just match start, 3 12000 lbs bombs drop on the US side,of the map, match end...
I did see some but immediately tried kicking all players that I saw in german vehicles and will be banning people from my events that do that in the future.
That has two crew and dies when shot in the turret? 🤔 Won’t be able to pen a Stuart and even Cruisers with the extra armor. Britain easily wins with their stabilized cannons and other advantages.
@@tyrbaan7295 You know that Cruiser tanks are pretty much as fast and don’t have crappy stats for their turrets. A .50cal will take out 80% of Russian Tier 1 so you can do the same and more damage in the Staghound.
