it depends upon the requirements of the forces and as you said for defending our territories, a lot of improvement still needs to be done but we are doing well considering an attack can happen from both sides to us
US spends on military lot more than they should. India is actually a military powerhouse, but US is on another level, perks of being the sole superpower at the moment.

While US and india are not treaty allies, both these defences are meant for someone else who shall remain unnamed. Actually a common enemy. So tgerebis no point in comparing as you can see US is helping india to increase miltary power. India is actually a reluctant power.

Still US army lost the war against Vietnam. Even Russia in the current war, could not occupy all of Ukraine. So clearly these numbers aren't enough to win a war.. India has Himalayas and Indian ocean, also the Lakshwadeep islands & Andaman Nicobar Islands. Also India has good relations with Powerful Nations. So in this situation it would Not be east to win a war with INDIA.
The reason why Russia couldn’t occupy all of Ukraine is because of the US and nato help. They gave them weapons, ammunition and supply to help with them to win the war. US lost against Vietnam is because of the terrain, the advantage that Vietnamese have against the US soldiers, and not enough soldiers on the ground. Doesn’t matter how much you spend your money on the military and technology that you have or training. If your enemy have more number of people than you, then you won’t even a last. That why I think china will win against the US because they have more people than the US. So China can just easily replace the dead soldier with a new one. That what happen in Soviet Union, and Nazi, and Japan army.
@@iiiisssssaaaaaacccccc while true, the destructive capability of weapons has far exceeded those of its predecessors a long time ago. Though I do not think the US would want to occupy China in the same way if that occurred. Currently China has no way to wage a war to invade the US and has no close huge influence in the western hemisphere on the other side of the ocean and while China has more tonnage at sea than the US, China doesn't have the technology or air force to compete against the US in open ocean or in neutral territory at the moment. Plus to wage a war against the biggest logistical military the world has ever seen and to try to invade them would be a daunting chance for the Chinese. The US has more allies and miltiary bases to help surround China at least on the ocean front and could seize shipping lanes in the south china sea and the pacific ocean. The Chinese have no hope to surround two possible coasts of the US. China could possibly win a war against the US in their own waters and territory just like how Vietnam won the Vietnam war by simply having the US retreat because it was becoming too costly of an effort. But make no mistake, the US could destroy more infrastructure on the chinese mainland than the chinese could destroy anything on the Chinese mainland. What's use of an army if you can't invade your enemy and it would all be about defense?
Nah, China still lags behind US military in terms of aircraft, naval and logistical capability. The US has more aircraft that are also 1-2 generations better, naval asset wise, the Chinese can build more ships but also lag behind the US in tech by 20-30 years, and logistically, no military in the world compares to the US. China isn't slated to be a true peer military competitor on the world stage against the US for probably another 20-30 years at the earliest at the moment.
@@zishan642 Hold up wait a minute, the US is still the most powerful economy with one of the most powerful nuclear armaments and is still the premiere Naval and logistical power in the world with a top 5 tank that just got upgraded. Sure the chinese has more tonnage at sea, but the typical US destroyer is still significantly more powerful than that of what the Chinese is throwing out in the water currently as it is still a green water navy vice the US being a true blue water navy.
The US is still significantly more powerful than most nations on Earth. sure India and China has more people, China has better missile technology, and Russia has more artillery than most nations. But the US technology tree exceeds that of most forces on Earth plus logistically speaking the US has had to wage war across the globe while most nations wage war against their neighbors which means the US had to develop the largest logistical capable force the world has ever seen. Plus these videos only show numbers, but they don't show quality of technology and that the average US military member is usually better equipped than most peoples militaries in general. Plus the US has a significant amount of allies, equipment and personnel scattered around the globe with random defense treaties with multiple high end military powers like on the Asian side being Japan, South Korea, Australia, and Taiwan. So, there's definitely a lot that goes into everything
