Why did you not include the final part where Pekora says that she was just joking and that the Earth is really round? Only reason I'm saying this is because people will really think she's serious about this.
@@shirobaka I would say that you're over estimating the comprehension of the people who believe these things but because it's Pekora we're talking about, even I would believe that she's actually serious if no one's tells me otherwise
She has a point, you know. The government didn't tell us about the existence of moon rabbit aliens either, so in a world where pekora is real, anything can be real
She does have a good point though Question everything, be skeptical of everything, even the well-established ones Just make sure you know your science well before you make a nuclear claim
^This. Ironically the average flat earther today is smarter and more educated on the subject than the average person that relies on appeals to authority and ad populums.
@@nickkorkodylas5005 If they were smarter and more educated, they wouldn't believe in the flat earth theory due to all the evidence and practical applications in support of the contrary.
@@StrikeNoir105E _" all the evidence and practical applications in support of it"_ Yes but the wider public does not know them, and tbh I've lost arguments to flat earthers a couple of times because I wasn't knowledgable enough in newtonian physics and optics to counter their points, no matter how good I was in reciting wikipedia in matters of astronomical objects.
@@nickkorkodylas5005 There is no reason to investigate the shape of the Earth. As such, most people do not know information pertaining to the subject. It's not hard.
The issue with flat earthers thinking, people would fall on the other side of globe is that they always think they are on the "right" side of Earth. Obviously there's no "right" side, but it's funny, how they all make the same mistake, because they really have no other argument against gravity pull being towards the center of Earth.
I wonder if anyone on the stream actually tried to explain that gravity is the concept that two masses attracting each other and since the Earth is much more massive, the force on the smaller mass is much higher hence there is a pulling force that keeps you on the ground.
That feel when Pekora draws the circle instead of using the shapes feature in paint. I did ask that question back when I was a kid as well though, didn't really believe it for a long time since my dad's a big fan of scientists and such. Still though, lots of people probably asked this question before learning about gravity.
Interpol the CIA Seal Team 6 the SDF and Chuck Norris are on their way peko Don't think you can get away with this. This knowledge is too powerful for the common nousagi
I always thought that Pekora is just not really smart... But when I saw this,I finally know that there are people who are dumb in this world cause I alway believe that there are only smart and not smart
fun fact:earth in present year is not actually round its actually Oval it has to do with i think gravity or magnet effect i cant remember from my teacher. also another fun fact:eart is not flat, if you look in a ocean or sea you cant see the other side (land) because the other side land goes down
This is funny and entertaining but... She need to do some research then admit she is wrong in her new stream/video (Only if she still talk about it again in another stream) Because trying to spread wrong info is bad..(it's fine if she don't talk about it again) flat earthers is nothing but an idol keep saying earth is flat gonna look bad.. yeah it's funny at first..
If you know about Hunter x Hunter's dark continent, flat earth is actually make a lot of sense. Are there such thing as south pole? Is that really exist as a 1 spot in the earth? Or the world is actually circled by big block of ice and north pole is not up, but in the center of the circle. That's where the compass always point to. The center of the earth.
