@chrisbassani1152
@chrisbassani1152 9 лет назад
SirFancyPants21 I think sub 9.5 would be a bit extreme but i would say 9.53 when you think about it; 9.5 and 9.53 are quite far off
@SirFancyPants21
@SirFancyPants21 9 лет назад
chris bassani Well Usain averaged 2.44m per stride, and by the time he started celebrating to the finish line, as well as his deceleration right before, was about 8 and a half strides. That's roughly 20m. If he went balls to the walls in the last 20m and then some just in case, he definitely could have gotten an increased time of .09.
@L4C3-L4

chris bassani i think he didn't go all out in order for him to be able to beat it once again.
@chrisbassani1152
@chrisbassani1152 9 лет назад
yeah seeing the way he's ran especially in the world championships in berlin he didnt lean in the end so it might reveal his purpose to continually beat it rather than absolutely crush it once. but again he might just be getting better overall. either way, he's ran the fastest races in human history that we know of

in my opinion, right now. i believe the top 3 sprinting nations are, in order, Jamaica, USA, and Trinidad and Tobago. i know Canada and Britain are great but on the biggest stages over the past few years these nations i thought excelled the most. but if i missed any meets where my knowledge may be invalid please be free to inform me. im from the US, and i have a great respect for Trinidad and Jamaica considering i am also a track athlete. i love watching these nations run especially against each other whether it be a relay or individual.

Breaking world records is never easy in track and field but doing so at the Olympics or the World Championships is even harder due to the number of qualifying rounds one has to run before the final. In 2009, Bolt ran 8 races in 6 days in his 3 events. Thus, making his achievements even more memorable and legendary.
