I live in a very noisy locality. The base noise is already high even when measuring with a dedicated decibel meter. the pump noise would not even register.

It is still working. But I don't use it everyday. A lot of people ask me this question so, I'm planning to buy another pump; run it 24/7 and see how long it lasts.

Mine is still working. But i don't use it 24x7. I mean i don't use it as my main air pump. I use it for temporary tank setups and for sick fish only.

yeah, they have a brushed motor in them which dries out then it stops working. mine lasted 5 months.

how do you intend to use the pump in your tank. for just bubbles or for running filters.?

Almost all aquarium products are made in china. There is no running away from china. In this case this is just a usb air pump, I don't think it would cause any fire.

@@gurribuy it doesnt cause fire? Lol as long as u plug it in outlet its still risk in fire. And the wire is getting hot. I have tha same model of that air pump. I stop using it now cause it gets hot even in using a few minutes

@@fumiyafuse6374 Then there must be something wrong with your pump. Because the pump takes so less power, A properly working pump should not heat up.
