Once I get to the step right before 2:00 I try and right click my file from disk 1 (this is the correct usb drive) it just blanks everything out like I am unable to click it and the only thing that I can click is the ‘help’ option. What do I do?
After doing all these steps the pendrive icon is appeared in my computer,but after clicking on it shows a msg that please insert a disk into USB drive ...what to do?
in the device manager, there was no error shown in mass storage device and still after following the steps it is the same kindly get back to me with another option. Thank You.

yeah, you solved my problem, I was worried that it got formatted, the reason the issue happened with me is because I connected it to TV and formatted the pen drive from Tv which created this issue.
SOLUTION GUYS :- I’ve been having same problem did everything took 2 hours still nothing worked then just took an otg hooked pendrive to my phone and within 10 seconds i just formatted it and plugged into my pc works like charm.

Just got this problem today, and what i did is i go to device manager and i delete partition, then i create new partition and now it is working This method work for me 😆
Didn’t help because you don’t cover other issues like usb lighting up making noise but still nothing shows drive letter but now just show no media and still won’t show on pc I only see on disk management
Replace the current one to new for example if your computer has 4 drives C as windows,F as local disk,H as local disk and the main one i mean if your usb drive was inputed as the letter v,x,d,r whatever change it to the new one!like A,b,d etc.after this you will see the change.
Every time I click change drive letter and paths I hear a bing and a message about refreshing the manager which I do, but the same keeps happening 🤦♂️

My problem is a bit different. If I restart my computer my USB drives show up and I can use them as normal, but if I remove the drives, I won't be able to use the usb drives or any other USB devices until i restart again. I totally thought that this was going to fix my problem but, unfortunately it did not. I thought it would work because when I insert my drives, there is a audible notification you hear when the drives are engaged. The drives don't show up in My Computer. When I get to disk management, the option to assign a letter to your drive is grayed out and that's as far as I can get.
I installed my host card and my PC says its detected and that its working properly BUT everything I plug into it only works for a second the stops. Sometimes it starts then stops over and over. Drivers are all good. Im very confused and frustrated. Its a Dell Optiplex 790 Mt i7, pcie slot with sata power cable connected. It has a green light that indicated that its on and working, when I plug in a usb device it reads for a second then the light starts flickering and the device disconnects. Please help, thank you!!!
