I will try to summarize this based on my initial experience today. I ordered the Evo core which arrived today and went down to Best Buy to purchase a micro 4/3 lens. I bought the West lens that they had in stock which I believe was somewhere around 24 mm. I would have to check the spec. I was surprised being 25 feet away from my subject that I was not able to get a 25 foot wide image. Maybe it’s just a lack of knowledge of the glass parameters but I’m going to return the glass and buy a wider lens tomorrow. I had a very difficult time finding using the iPad. I also felt like the image with the Mevo and the lens just felt very digital and not super pleasant to watch. I may hook the core into a television tomorrow to see if the lack of resolution was merely an issue with the iPad. I’ve been shooting with Sony cinema cameras for almost 30 years, so I’m very familiar with the menu layout and the image that I want from the standard Sony menu system. I found the Mevo core menu to be a bit of a challenge right out of the box. I would welcome speaking to you directly to see if there’s an issue with my Mevo core or my lens combination.
@@GrahamRiverProductio I recommend the 12 to 45 mm kit lens to start with since it gives you a wide range for tight and wide angles. That’s what I have been using on my latest videos about the Mevo core. I also have the sigma 16 mm f1.4 that’s perfect for bokeh ( blurry background) plus it’s wide but no zoom, it’s a prime lens. The next lens I recommand is a 24mm f1.4 or f1.7 from Lumix they are both fantastic. Your lens is everything. Don’t grab any cheap kit lens. Feel free to reach out if you need lens recommendations. My video about lenses is coming out next week
@@canaljpproducoes4803 The listener mode will definitely be easier to setup since you will not need to do any network configurations, feel free to join my fakebook group that's where I can share more info like video and pictures or book me for a one on one help.
I didn’t measure the latency and it’s on Normal (safe) Mode in OBS, I was just focused on demonstrating its capabilities. So you could still do some tweaking to reduce it
@@v_r_ if you have the screen recording scene ready you can use the settings below. If you still can’t I personally use Wondershare Demo Creator to record my tutorials you can try it. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-WEoEgrrCOb0.htmlsi=aIfNYv4gYt1lFps5
