That’s fair, even if their D is lights out… to go undefeated against ND, Utah, Washington, and Oregon in rapid succession would tax any team. This is why the SEC tends to play an FCS team before a tough rival.

I don’t trust the conference and their hatred toward a school that’s jumping into the B1G in 2024, so my gut feeling telling me with the past history with the pac 10 now , those Refs will definitely be heavily favored for those other teams especially in the northwest. Call me crazy, but this is the year the pac 10 conference will do everything in their power not to see SC as 2023 conference champs. Believe that! I’m not confident at all there will be fair and balance play. 🤷‍♂️

Altho you do make an excellent point, USC will be coming out with serious guns blazing in 2023. They will not use poor game officiating as an excuse. They will rise above it and still win. A champion makes no excuses.

So as lovely as running the ball 800 times sounds as some point your gonna need to score I love Sam Hartman but I don't think you have the wide receivers to compete with USC if and when it does get to that point

I think USC is going to lose by 21 at ND - ND is going to see MASSIVE improvements on both sides of the ball. But, the single biggest improvement ON THE FIELD between either team, will be ND's QB. That has been the missing piece of the puzzle. Good luck stopping ND's offense this year. ND 42, USC, 21.

They can lose 4 games in all honesty. ND, W, O, and Utah are all trick games and can go either ways. I think 10-2 is a more likely scenario compared to 11-1.

Bad officiating in the first one, Caleb Williams injury in the second one. This year, usc is going to be out for blood. Cam rising is recovering from an acl injury for Utah so either he’ll still be out when we play, or he will be very rusty. USC will beat Utah this year.
