USD SWAY CHRIS FARMER 2022 - WHAT'S DIFFERENT? 

I got mine 2 days ago. Loving them so far!

What issues were you having? Curious because I've been considering getting some Sways to try out

@@almostremembered previous sways were not very durable, I have seen people reporting their skates got broken, plastic around eyelids tore apart while trying to lace them, sway is a much more budget friendly model, but maybe new models are more durable

Might want be worth adding the Gawds Tim Franken Pro in the mix. After 17 years off they're what I went for.

⬆️ THIS. I cosign. I am also a 43. In my two years back I had the grey farmer sway. Liked them but liners wore out and felt gross. Ordered a pair of black sways about eight months ago with another crown liner cause I wanted to stick with same skate. They were really painful for first 20-30 hours right where Lino shows on inner ankle bone. Removed wrap support on crown liner and they quit hurting. The tongue plastic is useless and falls out every air. The heel support I was not feeling, so much forward lean. On both sets of crown liners the velcro came off one of the heel pads on first removal of heel pad. The problem is being a 43 in a 43-44. I feel after about eight months they get broken in and start feeling like you are just swimming in them. GROSS. losing all types of power transfer. Everything feels🤮. Second time now. I found a skate in a 42-43 that I liked. Gonna Try that out. My theory is if it is a double size shell to be on the big end. That way they will feel great after eight months. I really like the Sway buT have come to the conclusion no bueno if you are size 43. At least with a crown liner. They need to get their sizing consistent and figured out. Best of luck USD Sway…

I got to thinking yesterday after the wall of words. The USD Sway 60 shell that I am riding is 10-10.5 mondo 275-282. The crown liner is a 10.5-11 mondo 282-289. I am a 43 mondo 280. The liner fits the shell very nice. The liner is where I felt like I was swimming. I would buckle them all the way tight and laced up and still be able to get three fingers between the tongue of crown liner and my shin. I put the support wrap back on the crown liners and put the plastic shims in for the side support. I ride 60 flat and after installing new wheels recently was getting a lot of side to side flex. This helped a lot no more of that side to side. I then put a Dead shock absorber INSIDE the liner. That really helped with my foot filling out more of the liner. My back is also thanking me. I do not use the heel pad on the crown liner. I am sure this would help fill out a liner in the boot, but you are going to feel that forward lean. Did not feel any drastic lean with the Dead shock absorber. Just better. Had my best session on them in awhile. Still had to constantly tighten buckle first 30 minutes. I am still having to buckle the skates down all the way and can still fit three fingers between tongue and shin. The Sway 60 buckles are hot garbage. The Farmer model has much nicer buckles. These buckles look even better than the first Farmer buckles. I took the buckle receivers off my Farmers and put them on the Sway 60s. Much nicer, and easier to get my foot back after a session. I typed all this basically to say if your foot is swimming in these liners after break in try a shock absorber or thicker footbed inside the liner. Enjoy the Sway everyone.

The toe box is quite generous but the Crown liner is quite padded so the sensation is to be surrounded by a big cloud. If you need to win more space you need to heat mould the liner or change it with a Second skin from My Fit.

@@tubebitto7 I hope that will fit me well. I really liked what I heard about the liner. I always liked a puffed liner because it feels so comfortable. Fingers crossed

They are for narrow feet. If you have normal to wide it will hurt!. I skate Razors cult and M12s. They fit almost just as slim. Also the front is alil more wide then the Razors ad M12s. But other then that they are slim

I think the shell and overall fit will be quite different and that should be your top concern. If you can, try both in person. The Farmer liner is much better and offers many more ways to customize to your liking. I have them and didn't even know about the side stiffeners until watching this video. Farmer's 50/50 Prime frames are the obvious choice if it's in your budget, but the Balance frames are also an excellent pairing.
