You could get a little better quality still to video if you used your original still as the center of a clip. I.e. generate two videos starting from the same still, but reverse one of them, put it first, hit the original image, go through the second clip. E.g. maybe the first generated video zooms out and the second zooms in - so when the first is reversed you get a continuous zoom in. Or do a pan left and a pan right, reverse the pan left and merge for a continuous pan right.

Wonder Dynamics is not something a lot of us get to work with. It's come down to $20 a month but if you aren't doing animation monthly, it's hard to justify the price. If I were making a TV show then it would be incredibly cheap. It does amazing work, I'll say that.

Every video showing Davinci Resolve has failed to sell me on switching until i saw you showing the smart reframe tool use. That would not be as painless in after effects. Will be installing it now.

3:00 doesn't davinci resolve have a way to export a frame from where the cursor is? That way the video doesn't "Jump" between generations because it's almost impossible for a human to capture a frame perfectly
Great video! Recently I've been using AI tools to make backgrounds for my piano videos, which I edit in DaVinci Resolve. Already learned some things from you on that front 😀 I wasn't familiar with Runway or Kaiber, these seem amazing! It will be a lot of fun to discover the possibilities with those kinda tools! No doubt in a few months it'll be versions of this where you can just simply talk to it and tell it what you want verbally and it will do everything you just showed us.

I see Runway also has a tool to generate a depth map video from an uploaded video. I would love to see creative uses of depth map videos. Is there a way to use a depthmap video with an animated level adjustment as a transition mask in something like DaVinci Resolve so you would essentially be wiping from back-to-front instead of side to side? ...or, is there a way to use it to make the original video three-dimensional for a parallax effect?
This is today! Only within a few years we can do THIS! When did AI art come out to the public like 2022/2021? Now look! In 5 years you will be able to type in what type of movie you want, and it will generate it with dialog and special effects. This is getting out of control! We have opened pandora's box!
Man this is the only ai segment that is developing frustratingly slow. It’s highly complex tho so I get it. Hoping firefly can produce much better video results when it launches
