Czech Entente is awesome for mp games. Yugoslavia rushes Fighter 3 in 41. Romania rushes their unique mountaineer buffs, Czechoslovakia uses their -10% fighter production cost to build the rushes fighters. Now you have an awesome tall faction. Besides the fact you don’t get steel because Paradox cares more about making majors strong than accurately modeling resource production
Always happy to see Czechoslovakia. Not just because I am from Prague but because I find it to be the chillest nation to play. Just rush bunkers and decent fighters and you either get Market Garden'd or you get Battle of Bulge'd, depending on how capable the Allies AI is. I like the DoD focus tree actually. It has some of the best buffs you can get and you do not need to do like 25 focuses and hope for someone else to do something to get moving. The most annoying thing is getting 10% world tension for the free draft law.

The event goes to whoever owns bessarabia when the USSR completes the focus “demand bessarabia”, but they always start justifying war goal waay before they do that focus. When I was playing Byzantine Empire and at war with Romania while partly occupying southern bessarabia the USSR justified war goal on me for my core greek territories, which is another bummer

I've been playing fascist Bulgaria and taking Romania out in December 1939, but as soon as I do Soviets justify against me, and it only takes 40-55 days. Perhaps I should wait until they give up Bessarabia... because i dont get any pop up event since the war justification is so short

Late to the party but the reason why the Yugoslavian justification was off time was because you were negative political power, if you don't have political power, the justification pauses.
Fun fact: Czechoslovakia is classified as Democratic country, despite historically blocking Sudetenland vote to join Germany, even though 70%+ wanted to join. Also Finland is not classified as Democratic, despite being second nation in Europe to give women the right to vote, reason for not being first was that we weren't independent when that happened.
The political idealogies are just tools to steer nations towards the main factions not a real reflection of politics in the 1930's. Example look at South America

If Finland would be a democracy from the get-go in 1936, it would probably cause Allies-Soviet war in 1939 when Winter War kicks in about 70% of time. Historically, this didn't happen. But boi would it have some good alt-history ground, considering how much world favor was on Finland's side. ...this will ve implemented around the same time with updated Italy focus tree.

The "New Zealo" bit of the name is probably a joke about "Australia = Austria". I think the Lebanese part might be that their flag is a red-white-red tricolour just like Austria? Not 100% sure though.
It has been 5 years or how long since DoD was released and PDX still have not fixed Czechoslovak fascist leader. Jaroslav Krejčí was lawyer before German occupation and became part of goverment during the war. He was never member of NOF. PDX should rename Czechoslovak fascist party to Vlajka (flag) , because unlike NOF vlajka was pro German so it would make more sence with current focus tree. And leader should be Jan Rozsévač Rys.
this trick no longer works, paradox goes in & makes divisions from your stockpiled equipment, meaning you have no units & the ai gets half of your armies (before the war, even if you delete them & the stockpile. the game scan for how many divisions you started with, how many you spawned & takes half of everything you had & spawns it as the enemy army) worth of divisions to fight you. 6 examples of this are the soviet civil war, the British civil war, the French civil war, the Spanish civil war, the German civil war & the 2nd American civil war it just is not viable, only fringe minor powers can pull it off, & get away with it
This is perfect... because my ancestors were from Austria Hungary but Czechs and Slovaks a century before those nation states existed. So some irony in Czechoslovakia deciding they don't like that farce...but they aren't Austrians nor Hungarians...
