Thank you for your videos. This helped me with a project I was working on where I added words to the middle of an applique design so that I could write it before adding a backing fabric. Then I wanted to copy and paste the whole design to make multiples in one hoop. This gave me the keys I needed!
I love that you explain the lesson slow enough for me to follow, thank you for this good information I did subscribe to your channel and I will follow all your videos, I have the brother se 1900
Another great video. Becky you are such a good teacher, you don’t assume we know anything and skip over a step. I learn and relearn from every video. Thank you for all you do.
Hello! Another great video! I have had a day where I have been running around doing errands and didn't stitch all day so now I'm hand quilting and watching. I hope you have a joyful week ahead. Thank you for posting this video and your creativity.
Excellent!! I wanted to do this topper but when you mentioned it having a ribbon.. I didn't want that on mine. I appreciate the tutorial to adjust the design.
Just watched your video , so much information and you make it look all so easy! I am thinking of buying the Brilliances Essentials program, I am a pretty new to embroidery but have never tried embroidery software been watching different videos hope to make the right decision
Thank you Becky. Another informative tutorial. Your descriptions of procedure are so precise and detailed. I have learned so much from your presentations which makes for problem free (usually!!) sewing. Everyone is always so eager with hints to help. Like Tina Turner says, "You're simply the best! "
Thanks so much for doing this tutorial. I currently do not have any software other than what’s on my Viking. This is super helpful in helping me decide what to buy! 👏🏻
Thank you Becky I love this Embrillance and have a DX 125 S&C that I cut all my Appliqués on too! Wanted to tell you that you can also send thru WiFi for The StellIre XJ1 And XE1 from Brother and the Babylock Altair and Meridian. Again thank you for all you share with us.
Awesome! Yes, I'm discovering that even though the menu doesn't state it, the wireless capabilities for these upper-level machines from both Brother and Baby Lock apply. They all use the same wireless technology. If I have both the PR1055 and XP2 turned on when I send to one machine, I usually end up sending it to one or the other or both, even if I get an error message in the software.
Becky, I love your tutorials. I am wondering if you have a suggestion on what Embrilliance software that will give me the best bang for my bucks. I have a son that also wants to design his own design which will prob need digitizing. Thanks
I wish I could help but I'm not a digitizer so I'm unfamiliar with the digitizing portion of all embroidery software. My best recommendation is for him to draw the design and then email it to this lady who does digitizing by hand (vs. by computer) and have her do it. She's my go to for anything I want digitized and she has a quick turn around and is very reasonably priced. (And cheaper than new software! LOL) liubovemb@gmail.com
Thank you! Very informative. This answers so many questions I had regarding SVG files. I was recently working on a project that included SVG files. I find that even the designers that include SVGs are not using this method to increase the size slightly and save the elements individually. I was working on Spring Showers and tried to cut directly from the SVG file. The elements were grouped and I could not ungroup. These options were grayed out. I am not sure if It has to do with the way it was saved initially or settings on my scan n cut. The few that I could cut as individual elements are exactly to size. The tack down does not stitch the piece because the stitching is just outside the cut line. I finally went back to my appliqué scissors and skipped cutting the files. I will start using the software and create the files.
Isn't it great to have options in your toolbox when you need them? So many embroidery digitizers have svg files that don't fit their designs and I don't understand why. Making them yourself with Embrilliance ensures a perfect fit every time.
Hiya Becky, hope all is right with both of you. In 2 weeks I'll be ready to buy my "Simply Applique" from All Brands. Do I get it through you, so you can get something for it or do I just go through them? God bless you both and what happened to Keith's quilt, my husband is following it, as well as me. Keep safe and enjoy your trip. Alda Perth West. Australia. xxx
Thank you, Becky for another great tutorial. I have Baby lock embroidery machines, also have the Pallett 10 Software. But it looks like the Embrilliance Essentials software is more user friendly. Thinking of getting it. Any thoughts would be helpful. Thank you.
Another excellent tutorial. Backing up a bit, how did you get the embroidery design into embrilliance? I've missed that. Is it in another tutorial you've done?
Thank you! If you navigate to the yellow folder on your computer where your files are, you can just grab the design with your mouse and drag & drop it onto the Embrilliance screen. Here's a video I did showing how - ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-cwdGYLo1to8.html
I have learned so much from you, thank you for the right videos at the right time. I bought embrilliance about a year and half ago and I still have so much to learn. I appreciate all your time you spend on teaching us!!
Becky, as I told you the other day, my husband bought me the Brother PR1055X. With it they threw in the PR Design 11. I’ve been looking at reviews and Ebrilliance seems to be getting better reviews. What is your feelings on this? They will take it back, if I want and replace it with something else of my choice.
PE Design is a wonderful software program and it includes the ability to digitize designs (create designs from your imagination) which is a very cool feature of advanced all-in-one programs like that. Comparing Embrilliance and PE Design really can't be done because if you purchased every module of Embrilliance Stitch Artist 1-3, then you'd have the same digitizing abilities as PE Design. With Embrilliance you only purchase what you need a la carte so that's where you save in cost. The Pros of Embrilliance however, are that you can install Embrilliance on more than one computer using a single license (I have it installed on 3 of my PCs and I only purchased it once), it doesn't require a dongle so no pesky USB thingys need to be put into my computer to use it, and all of the updates for Embrilliance are FREE. Embrilliance also uses BX fonts which type out like a keyboard word processor vs. having to place each individual letter to get the kerning correct. It's those reasons that I choose to use Embrilliance vs. anything else right now. I'll be honest, I've not used PE Design because I don't need that much digitizing ability. I'm familiar with Embrilliance and I'm very comfortable with the modules I have so it suits my needs. I recommend looking around on RU-vid for tutorials of both and see which one has the most training you can use so that you can learn whichever one you decide on. Watch a few tutorials and see which will be easier for you to use and then make your decision. When I got Spanky, I chose the quilting table vs. the software. I'm still pleased with that decision. If that's not what you need, then how about BES4 if you don't have it already. Then you can create applique designs like I'm doing with the chickens if you have a ScanNCut.
Me too! But I didn't have any leaves handy I could snag from another Kimberbell design. You can certainly get them from anywhere but I wanted to keep the embroidery from the same digitizer. :) Great minds!
