I am going to try this, I can see the start of a new company. I have several rental homes I can practice on. Several years ago I opened a Bar with a friend I still laugh when I remember the to of us sealing the bar top with resin when we had trouble with air bubbles. We called the manufacturer for help and was told to heat it with a torch. We were so nervous expecting the epoxy to burst into flames. It was so nice when we were done.
Very cool! Resin is such a cool product work with 😍 In the future, if you would like to avoid the torching process, our self-leveling epoxy only requires a fine mist of denatured alcohol to pop micro bubbles. Check out our website to see what kits and products we offer! 👉 leggari.com
Even though my laminate counter tops (refurbished by previous owners) are less than 7 yrs old, they're a speckled white/grey/beige and tend to discolour and scratch easily. Real marble, granite or terrazzo is simply way out of my budget range but the sheer beauty and DIY option you've shown here has given me renewed hope that I probably can upgrade my kitchen one day. Thanks for sharing all the tips n tricks with us in your demo. It was extremely entertaining for a DIY video 👍😊
We are so glad you came across our channel! If you'd like to see what kits we offer, you can check them out here! 👉 leggari.com/order-countertops/#standard-epoxy-kits For an idea of how durable our countertop kits can be, check out this video 👉 ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-npzH_hKmUG4.html And best of luck to you!
You won’t regret it! I did my kitchen floor myself. Cost me about $3500 (I messed up a little section the first time, so it was a little more costly). I also did our guest bathroom floor with epoxy and the pennies I’ve collected since I was a kid. I just ordered this stone kit from them and plan to do my kitchen counters!
When I was a kid, a little more than 50 years ago, I got a job pouring gunk into molds, making sinks. I thought the swirly patterns we got were pretty neat. Boy, how things have improved!
Absolutely love this resin pour. The kit seems perfect for New Diy people also. Your full explanation from start to finish, and showing each step was excellent. I love this color combo, and definately would try this. The diamond effect in the isenprophel alcohol is amazing. One of my next projects.
Me an hour ago: Why would these people think I'd watch an hour long video on redoing countertops when I don't even need to redo my countertops? Me now: Holy cow! That was incredible! I need to redo my countertops!
Very very impressive. Great demo. Beautiful results. Immaculately executed. Very clear precise instructions. I’m confident after watching this again and following all you instructions I can do this. Preparation at each step is key. Testing with samples will give me more confidence to use this wonderful product. 👍🏻
I really like the way you are applying the epoxy little by little. It's very creative artistic and hypnotic. I can watch this video for hours and hours. You're so dedicated to this process, it's commendable . 👍❣️❣️❣️
This will certainly create one of a kind surfaces If you go back thru their videos You can find other examples of different pouring techniques Yielding different results All of them beautiful
I was fixated at the pour as it started to take shape, then the gold effect had me grinning like a goof. also, the way it dropped into diagonal grain down the sides completed the applause, Neat work,
WOW I mean wow!!! I watched the whole video and kept telling myself I can do this! I was very impressed with the whole procedure so I'm saving the video for when we do our kitchen. Thank you so much, guys!!!
not to mention it is plastic so u will need to cover your countertops 99% of the time. no hot pots, be careful if you have a gas stove, no hot dinner plates, dont dare drop a knife on it, or anything for that matter. it will be thousands of dollars of landfill waste for the majority of people within a year.
Me too...but keep in mind they have been doing it awhile. I'm watching videos like this over and over , taking notes...before I practice on sample. I'm nervous about trying it. They really make it look so easy.
I have thrown 2 tubes they dried out. Opening the 3rd tube, I was determined to not let the same thing happen to it. I am a lot more confident now, thanks to you!!
I'm about to buy a house a realize quick I'ma end up with a fixer upper so I'm here hoping I can learn how to do my counters and floors of whatever dump I end up getting your work is absolutely beautiful tha k you for sharing .
Thank you! When you order from us, you will receive in-depth tutorials that walk you through the whole process. Best of luck to you in your upcoming projects! Be sure to contact our customer service with any questions or concerns. Thank you!
Wow that was really mesmerizing. I dont do kitchens but like watching these types of videos just to see how the pros do this. The guys were really specific and made it look like anyone can do this. Three thumbs up!
Everyone complaining Abt how long the video is and do this without watching the video bc they will be cussing when the meds up. I wish I could do it to my bath and kitchen but I am so very sick so it will not be something I can do but you guys are amazing and your product is amazing!
Yes, i did! My home is only 4 yrs old. I do lots of epoxy, its always good to find what other kinds are available. That's why I watched the entire video..
I was wondering what they were going to do with the edges, then he started to rub along them and I was thinking 'well that's just screwed that up' but like magic the design came through again. Amazing.
I love this , I've only tried this a couple of times , but gave up. But watching your video, I now know I was doing it all wrong ! I'm so excited to try this again. Couple questions can this be done on any surface as long as it's been primed? So I guess what I'm asking is can I do it on plywood can I find the plywood and do it on plywood. Also where do I buy this product the products that you're using.
Denatured alcohol is the greatest tip I’ve learned from you guys to get bubbles out. It surprises me when I see people still using torches like it’s 2020 lol
That would add value to any home up for sale 👍🏻👍🏻 this is a real high end finish , stunning . And the option to have any colour combos you want . Impressive to say the least ♥️
I stumbled onto this video through Facebook and glad I did. Purchased an older home with what seems to be made of resin. Wife and I have been discussing replacing the countertops throughout to get the colors that complement our interior paint scheme. Looks like this product will save us on installing granite or marble countertops.

Honestly, dying over the fact that you covered an already beautiful counter top. (I mean yes the result is amazing but I would be so happy to have the before)
@Aloha Akahai Yes, I agree. But I still am really fond of marble and granite in their original forms, unless they are awfully deteriorated. I would use this technique to mend and restore... But... it is an incredible countertop. And beautiful. Congratulations on doing it for many of us would make a terrible mess just trying! LOL
THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH. I just began renovate my old kitchen in my even older home and I definitely going to make some amazing designed counter top with your kind help.
absolutely beautiful work guys I have layed flooring for 14 years and have done some high-end designs with 70 oz and up carpet sure brings back some good memories great video guys thanks and keep them comeing .
At 5:34 for me.. I find it fascinating. Being from a manufacturing family and history of our own. My dad taught Plastics at LA Trade Tech. In the '70's.. I also was quality control, but after having 17 years experience before that.. This is Art. In another case .fascinating..
When I saw that the video was almost an hour-long, I thought that I would be skipping to the next. I've used epoxy in the past but not in this way. I must say I'm very impressed! It looks easy to do and the effects could be endless. They did a beautiful job on those countertops. The only thing I would be concerned with is the waste. All of the stuff running and dripping down the sides. I'm sure the product is pricey. I can't wait to try it out!
It is a trick. They have left a bunch of things out that are required!! They are utterly dishonest. I know, they got to me and I (unfortunately) purchased one of their kits. A YUGE mistake.
It's incredible what you can learn on RU-vid and from these helpful videos, especially if you're having aptitude for picking up things you see and translating them into the product or the work oh, very helpful thank you
Robert, I so agree. I think this is stunning and not near as expensive as marble, or quarts. I like the idea that you can get just the look for your personal style. It's like a beautiful canvas that you create
Very exciting! For some inspiration 👉 leggari.com/gallery/ Be sure to share before and after photos with us! We love to see what our customers do using Leggari Products😍
Even though it broke my heart to see you paint over that beautiful marble design this turned out really cool. You should call that kit “Northern Lights”.
Absolutely impressive 😲 How you made the edges- so unexpected - they covered themselves 😍😍😍😍 I didn’t skip this video , so interesting and informative!
@@joeb.8625 No, you have to putty and sand all of the joints and nail holes! If you don't it will show up. It is only about a 1/4 inch thick, if that. It did look pretty good when I was finished but one of the joints didn't get sanded as well as it should and you can see it. I will say that it was in a rental and they were not the cleanest people but it appears unmarred. So it does appear to be durable, so far. I feel like they just way underplay the prep work.
@@joeb.8625 How would you attach it to the cabinets? Pretty sure, it has been several months now, that they nail it to the cabinets in the video. I guess you could just try and glue it.
Absolutely IMPRESSIVE and beautiful job!!! as an artist myself, I applaud your creativity and final result. I truly hope that I'll be able to find a professional team to lay epoxy on our new construction in TN
@@MrOrangeonion just start with a small piece first. Like an end table. It’s not hard. Just have to follow instructions and practice. That other guy is mean
WOW!!! That was absolutely amazing. I just got done remodeling my kitchen and i would have loved to have a showpiece counter like this. I don't think i would be brave enough to try this on my own though. I loved watching the video from start to finish. I am so impressed!!
Tim & Tylor u guys r really good on camera! Very natural & confident. U R really encouraging & positive not arrogant. This was a nice vid to watch The counters look amazing. I love all the hints & tips u guys share.
I’m very proud of you. You did a beautiful job. I don’t mind one day trying to I used to do marble painting in the wall when I was much younger it’s a good idea. Thank you sharing this with us. I love to learn. God bless you have a blessing life continue do more beautiful work love it try doing white I love white white marble.
@@piercebrooker5175 Whereas I kept fast forwarding. ‘Ain’t nobody got time for that’ unless you are doing it immediately. You will only have to watch it again
After watching many, many "how to" videoes on epoxy uses, this one is, beyond a doubt, the best and most informative of all! The guys doing the counter top explained in detain how to get your desired effect! I'm anxiously awating more of their videos!
Thank you so much for the glowing review! You can find many more videos like this on countertops, floors, walls, showers, etc. here! www.youtube.com/@LeggariProducts Find products here Leggari.com If you're interested in learning coatings LeggariAcademy.com
Nice video , great job , looks very cool ...... love the "no torching" !!!!! ..... How well does epoxy hold up to heat and scratches etc etc , and how much does a gallon cost apprx ??? THOSE are my two biggest questions
Beautiful!!!!! An hour well spent! My question is will this work on any countertop? You did it on marble it seems but can you do it on wood, laminates, etc? And how costly is it? The finished product is absolutely gorgeous!!
I have been wanting to watch a video where it is done on marble or granite, otherwise all the about 2 dozen videos that I saw were on glass and wood. So dediNitely it can be done on other surfaces. Infact I saw one on mdf board and one one foam too.
Thank You Very Much. Got many ideas on how to use your products, not for countertops, but for a miniature garden of tini plants and a river across ..for my gkids.. Awesome your Countertop .
Reminds me a product called Flecto-Seamless that was around back in the 1960s I believe. I did an entire floor with it and it looked and wore nicely. Not a pretty as this stuff though. Good job!
My fourth time watching this. I am getting ready to do my countertops, although I have worked with epoxy resin many times I have never done a project as large as what I am getting ready to do. I did change colors slightly I am using metallic black, metallic bronze, and metallic turquiose. Instead of the gold I am going to try silver. My first step is a using a wooden TV tray as my sample board. If I don't completly screw this up I will post a photo of the sample board in the reply section of this post.
Yes please do! The color combination you are planning on installing sounds like it'll be beautiful! Amazing products. I did my kitchen with Stone Coat. I did the same general look but what I used just seemed much easier. No matter which products you choose.... your overall effects will be amazing!!! Extremely durable to high heat as well!!! 😉!
Amazing job that's done by your free hands, I had saw so many projects but it is another level, love you so much to upload this video, wards are not enough to appreciate you I pray for you, may ALLAH give you more talent, thank you once more.
No intention to do process but it’s so unique I had to see it through. My daughter does home Reno’s and this is right up her alley. Going to recommend she watch it too. Very thorough explanation.
Oh wow, this can be used to repair the old and cracked body of the old guitars and basses. People throw-away those to the dumpster. But with an epoxy product like this, it can be revived.
Careful, they are lying about the preparation! It is much more extensive than they claim and you might not even be able to make it stick. They are truly scum.
👉 Sitting here watching you just made it uncomfortable for me, with the ego of wanting to try, if you will be able and willing to offer me the opportunity to give it a try, with you of course... standing by . Will you ??🤔 It has a beautiful earthly blend, that adds character to the kitchen with the elegant and enhanced flow of vigorously moving colors. 👉 It's beautiful ! It's beautiful ! It's beautiful and it's true ! When I saw that look, it only makes me want to try ...to see how I will apply. So as to challenge myself with something different. 🙏😊👌👍❤ the look . Absolutely inviting spending more time in the kitchen to cook . Great job well done.
That is beautiful. Not sure that I could do that. Question.... My friend is wondering if you can do this over um an old mobile home countertop. We think it is some kind of laminate over a wooden frame. Could send a picture.??????
Gorgeous 😍 Looks like fun just to imagine what it will look like after. Beautiful job and you make it look so easy too..Very entertaining to watch. Thank you
You know how people are. They have something nice but after a while they get bored. That's when the Leggari guys make things exiting again for the bored people.
I’ve read thru hundreds of comments and there is never a reply from this company regarding durability and heat resistance. Most replies are a “thank you” to the positive comments. I love the look but think there must be something wrong or they would ANSWER simple questions. I did check and this company does have an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau.
How do you address backsplashes? Eliminating them altogether will lead to water damage problems down the road. For comparison purposes, what was the cost of materials for this project? Also, how long should one plan to be without a working kitchen?
Wow,I’m impressed,so professionally done,I enjoyed how you explained everything in details, you made it seemed so easy to do, one just have to have patience and passion to do it.My Papa created a similar effect on our dining table back in the 80s,he painted white and then he covered it with lacquer varnish and the final outcome was awesome, like the one you did! Thanks so much!🤓
