The end result is epic!! Love it so much. 😃😃 The worst pen I ever used were the ones that the felt tip crumbles on you while you use it. Or the kind that rip the paper up! Forget the name of the pen.

Worst pen I used was a dollar store knock-off brush nib marker set. I’m all for saving a few dollars but sometimes it’s best to wait, save up and buy quality product when honing your craft. Lesson learned. (Thanks Stefan and Happy New Year!)

I remember buying one of those no brand markers that come in sets. It was cheap and quality was the same as the price point. Most the of the pens’ tip went in the barrel and using it was such a challenge. I cant see the tip, so it felt like drawing blindly.

This video is amazing. My worst experience with the pen especially with Staedler triplus fineliner. This is because sometimes the tip of the pen was easily broken when it falling down on the floor and when you use it frequently the tip automatically change. I can feel the different tip movement when the first time uses it and after a few days use it. My handwriting style totally depends on the tip of the pen.

Great artwork with so many pens! Probably not the worst but it is up there... I was really hopeful for an erasable pen from Sharpie before and it wasn't the best. It barely erased the ink and it indented the paper so you still see where the markings used to be.

Awesome work! 🤩 Probably my worst pen experience was buying some really nice colors' pens to make my notes more beautiful, discovering they had a terrible writing experience and never using them (nor making more beautiful notes) again. 😅

I haven't used much pens till now for lettering but there was this micro tip pen I bought at a local store and it used to bleed while I outlined the edges! 4 of my artworks didn't turn out to be as expected because of those pens! Also getting some pen ink on my palm and getting it everywhere on the paper! It happens to me all the time!!

Putting a pen in the wash and ending up with ink on the clothes, but I can't recall what kind it was. Very cool work looked fun!

That time I purchased package of black Sharpies in a dollar store. They never dried, never became permanent. They spelled Sharpie different too - Sharpee. Noticed a little too late!

Beautiful lettering Stefan ♥️ I've had 2 nightmar-ish experiences with pens during my early days of lettering. The first one was using 'Add Gel Little Artist' brush pens. They were the easiest available cheap ones I could find & the nibs were over pigmented. They weren't smooth either so my first few creations were complete disasters 😅😂 The second was using 'Faber Castell Watercolor pencils'. The texture of these pencils was too dry and the leads would break easily. Instead of blending the colors, it would project different blocks of colors onto the sheet so I had to pass it to my younger brother 😂🤭

I was losing hope that I will not see my name but suddenly 4:37 im so HAPPY thank you Stefan! 🥰 Anyway, for me, the worst pen I ever tried and used was the Dong-A Gel Pens. They are actually good for outlining, my only problem is the consistency of the lines it makes are not that great. Overall, it is 8/10 for me.

Besides the more common case of pens smudging easily, exploding, or leaking. Once I bought a se3t of pens that were mostly dried up by the time I took the cap off for the first time. Such a sad experience.

Wow.. Always coming up with amazing challenges, love it🤩 And I use a limited amount of pens and all of them worked good so far😅 I really like the color pencils more than any brushes, they have this feeling that others can't give 😅

I have collected all kinds of things mark making for many years. This is great. The worst pens I’ve had: 1. A felt tip that didn’t have enough density, so there was no control. 2. An acrylic paint marker that the tips dry out too quickly and then become unusable. 3. A favorite that leaks or dries out too quickly. (Pentel is a favorite brand for me, especially their brush pens. ❤️ This video does make me want to try out the different Stabilo pens.)

This is an amazing idea, I definitely have to play with all my markers, pens and pencils after seeing this! And when it comes to my worst experience with pen... Well it was definitely not the fault of pen, but when I was around 8-9 years, I had two amazing metallic gel pens - blue and green. The 9 year old me was playing with the green one during biology class, I had completely dismantled the pen and as I was playing with the gel ink cartridge I got and "amazing" idea. I sucked the cartridge and suddenly I had my mouth full of the gel so after spitting it out I ended up sitting in the class with my mouth completely coloured in green. And metallic! Don' t recommend trying it :D

For just black lines I love the Faber Castell artist pens and my worst experience with a pen … hmm, just when they get empty and have to buy new ones :D. That's worse!

My worst experience was with a set of brush pens, the tips started to bend on first use and my hands ended up more colorful than the paper due to the ink spilling on them. Then I tried to make an artwork with my fingers haha

The worst experience with pens was when i was in class 8 and i mad my project myself and literally it was sooo good it was the best project in my life which i mad but not for a long time as every good thing has to end one day and i started doing a outline with glitter pens and i suddenly noticed that there is some dust on my chat paper and i just went my hand over it and then the Glitter pens got all over my chart paper and then i regret soo much and i finally had to make another one

WOAAHHH!! LOVED THIS CHALLENGE!! Talking about my experience with art supplies, I'm terrible at outlines :P using the pilot marker pens. we'll there's always room for improvement. Like you always say, "Done over perfection". That's what is keeping me goin. Thank you Steff!

I do some calligraphy and miniature painting, copying some medieval pages and arranging new ones in such style. I often prepare them as birthday cards or a memento of a wedding. So one of the worst things that happened to me a few times was that after multiple hours of doing a page (text, lines, music notes, a painted and ornamented initial with golden leaves, additional ornaments around) I took a very fine nib to place a small signature in a subtle place and BAM! a huge drop of ink decides to soak into paper... That's often depressing, but also humbling and teaches flexibility - some ink spills ("happy little accidents") can be turned into an ornament :) Worst pens? These would be some cheap supermarket brands that dry after 15 minutes of usage (especially "black" ones, that are often weak purple or brown from the start). And ball-pens made for marketing purposes - cheap ones frequently get pushed inside when I write with them and there's no way to get them out! STABILO made for good memories for me - I use mostly fine pens with orange body and they've been always very reliable, I usually have a pack in my essential tools when I travel. Woah, the art is so dope and colorful! ✨ My worst experience with a pen is while filling in a big space with color, the pen was getting drier and drier that I didn't get to fill all the way of the space. I don't really stock up on pens so it was a huge bummer.

Worst pen I used was the pigma micron pen no 005 because it stop working after 2 days.😔 It was my first pigma pens.But the other pens in the same set are working properly.😃

The worst experience I had with a pen was just a cheap gel pen which stated to leak while I was drawing. I ended up with green ink all over my hands :D

I loved the pen number 13. My worst experience was with a camlin brush pen, I found out after uncapping it one day the ink leaked all over the grip.

So there's this company called add gel which has a set of 10 brush pens and they were gifted to me by someone. Literally made one stroke and the tip started to fray. I thought I still might be able to use them for colouring... They just became blunt over time and I can't use them to fill in minute spaces!

The worst pen that I've ever used would probably be a really tiny blue marker that I found at the bottom of a drawer in my house. Not only was it hard to hold because it was so dang small, but it dried out after a few words. I didn't get very far in my lettering before it was time to throw it away. It was such bad quality it didn't even have a brand name.

It's amazing to see the how asthetically and beautifully u used each and every pens and created a beautiful artwork My worst experience with pen is that on 22nd January 2020 an art competition was held there in my college and for the drawings I took black pens of flair, luxar to complete my drawing a major portion of drawing needed the black part ....so when I started Colouring all pens in mid way dried up nothing was working I became so frustrated... white spaces were formed in my drawing which makes it look pathetic and I literally was crying there for my pathetic artwork but luckily I found out that I accidentally bought one luxar white board marker....I immediately used it very ferociously in my art work Nd completed it...and boom I got 2nd prize...ya I my worse experience turned out to be the best teaching lesson in my life

My worst experience was with Add Gel Brush Pens, they are only available in India. I started to try Brush calligraphy with those pens but those pens just cant stand the pressure and I ended up spoiling my brand new packet just because of the bad quality. I purchased those because they were the most affordable Brush Pens available in my country, and I thought they would be great to start my Brush pen calligraphy with but unfortunately I couldnt fo it, and that was soo disappointing.

When you started writing 'Ro' I thought it was me 😅 I bought some homecube markers as my intro to brush lettering, which almost put me off lettering as my work looked terrible, most of the pens were dried out and some were leaking. It was a mess. I ended up using bad pens on good paper 😫 Love your work Stefan, keep it up!!

My worst pen experience was with a pen from Farber Castell so Stabilo is much better ;)

I have always loooooved art since I was a little kid. When I was younger I did not like crayons due to their inconsistent colour pay off. Now I really don't like pens that have a blunt tip. I always prefer a sharp point pen even when it comes to everyday writing.

The worst thing that’s happened to me while using a pen was when I though that my pen had ran out of ink so I used it to scratch my arm with my sleeve on, but little did I know that there was still ink in there and the pen that I thought that ran out of ink was a different pen, so in the end I had ink all over my sleeve- Edit: and the worst pen I’ve used was this pen from my moms work, and it was one of those pens where you press a button and a different coloured ink comes out. This one only had 1/3 of the inks that actually wrote and worked-

The worst pen that i have is a chalk marker that has been exposed to air while i’am using it to write a name for a short time then i cannot use it anymore and the tip hardened already.😂

The worst pen I used were som sort of brush pens set which I got for really cheap online but it had great reviews so I thought of giving thema chance. But literally they were soo so bad that some of them had their whole nib drop out while writing. But keeping that aside it had one black pen which was pretty decent for the price though. BTW loved this video and the idea of using many pens for just one artwork. Will try for sure :D

Creative and fun end result as always! 😊 My worst experience with pens was when I was about 6 years old. A friend wanted to put makeup me. We didn't have any make up BUT we had lots of felt tip markers 🖍🖊✏🖍 that I used in my coloring books, many of them were alcohol based. Needless to say I looked like a CLOWN 🤹‍♀️🔵🔴🔵 🤹‍♀️ and even though my mom and I scrubbed hard the ink stained my skin for almost a week. I love Bic Atlantis ballpoint pens & Copic brush pens but even to this day (I'm 41) I can't stand that sharp alcohol smell from pens. 🤢

I am very excited because my name was the last of this artwork!! Love it!! My worst experience with pens was my fault, not the pens. Let me explain: Several years ago, I bought a beautiful set of Faber Castell metallic brush tip pens. I bought them because the colors that could be seen from the box, they seemed beautiful and different from all the others, but when I wanted to use them for the first time, I was disappointed because the tip was flexible and I did not know that type of tip. I didn't know that lettering, brush script or anything like that existed ... it was very frustrating because I couldn't take advantage of those beautiful tools, but I thought they were poorly made, until I started to learn a bit of lettering, calligraphy and brush script, of course, and now I use this all the time !!

Worst experience with a pen for me was when I was using a chalk marker and since u have to press on the tip for the tip to get saturated with ink, I pressed on it on a scrap piece of paper and didn't realize it was dripping on the underside of the pen and it bled on the board I was making!

The worst pen I‘ve ever tried is the måla pen from Ikea. I used them once and threw them away. Wouldn’t give them to my worst enemy. 🙈

The worst pen I have ever tried is Dong-A Gel Pen, at school I need a pen of course and it's quiz day, I used this pen because it was my lucky pen and because it is my lucky pen I did not feel the need of other pens but despite it being halfway used it did not write, as a Filipino, I had to remove the back cover and blow it to push the ink out, it did write but only for a few letters so I had to blow it harder, well things did not turn out great, I accidentally inhaled so I had ink in my mouth. Instead of answering the questionnaire I had to go to the bathroom and rinse my mouth. I never used Dong-A Gel Pen again because I don't want to remember what happened.

And here i am watching, waiting for my name to be drawn but apparently it did not make it. Haha.

My worst experience with a pen was when I pierced a pen in my knee😅🙊 It’s a long time ago, I was 16 or 17 yrs old and wanted to scribble and doodle a bit in bed before going to sleep. I wanted to nestle myself comfortably in my bed, but forgot I already held the pen in my hand. Ouch! Nowadays there still a little dot visible on the spot where the pen pierced my skin...

Hello , and happy New Year... So one of the worse set of pens I used and to be Crayola Makers from my local Dollar Store. I saw a few videos and my people stated that Crayola Markers are good and fun to cheap to use. Sooooo... I give is a shot. The first few markers I used I broke the tips off one be one. LOLOLOL Maybe I had a bad set.... Not sure.. So I went back and purchased a few more packs and this time the tips bent and stayed in the same place. However I did have a few good sets that work well. So I would have to say Crayola was probably my worse set a pens / markers I used. ....

I also hate hate hate the pens with names on them! I never ever can find my name, just doesn’t exist 🥺 makes me so sad. Because my name is Stephani with NO “e” on the end. Ever so sad my name will not me found on a pen. When I named my daughter I actually checked to be certain that her name was spelled right so there would be a pen out there for her 😂🤣😂 She received a lot of pens and pencils with her name on them from me. And yes...she loved them, who wouldn’t 😂😂😂 Sounds crazy but so true 😝

The was pencils I've ever used are the unnamed pencil, it breaks everytime you sharpen it 🤦🏿‍♂️ Really bad time killer

Awwww I wanted to know which pen did what 😕 I just love pens though lmao 😂 My favorite pen is pilot pens! But normally just any or all of course 😏 I love the ones with the pointed stick type tip and the liquid ink inside. I love to write (my daughter has always said that the only person she knows who had handwriting better than mine is Microsoft 😂🤣😂 and we’ve decided I naturally write in comic sans hehehe- apparently her teachers hate that font too) But I love love love to write so I love pens. As a kid, I loved and practiced my handwriting a lot. I still would rather write than type (weird I know lol) so I worked on it a lot. Then I found my favorite pen because as a nurse I wrote a LOT. But people are always snatching a nurses pen! I also don’t press very hard a all when I write so I needed a pen that didn’t require that for the ink to show well. And to keep people from snatching my pens they needed to be different from everyone else’s that way I could spot anyone with my pen. That’s when I found the stick tip ( not sure what to call it really) pens with the liquid ink inside. Also I love pens where I can watch the ink run out so I know for sure when it is empty and not just dried out. Also satisfaction from emptying the pens. I guess I have a bigger history with pens than I thought 🤣 but can’t help it I love them! So there ya go, my love affair with pens 😉

I purchased a set of color ballpoint pens once to try something new and the ink flow was just non-existent, which was SO disappointing

Mine worst experience with pen 🖋️ was really stupid, what happened is while I was writing it suddenly stopped working and when I opened it lots of ink was left. And I was striking on the wall continuously. And as it was a ball pen , the ball present in it was came out 😂. I was trying to write but it wasn't working and lastly I had to buy a new one. 😂 Another funny experience is I kept clothes in the washing machine and in my pants there was open pen 🖋️ and it was a whitish pants so it got coloured red 😂, it was a very funny moment and also rest of clothes were also coloured 😂😂😂. I so many more experiences . Also this challenge , you did it really well 👍. I wish you more luck .

So my most hated pen huh? Lol that’s hard cause I love them all so much! It I would have to say those cheap cheap Vic pens with the clear or solid outsides. They are rough to write with and dry out so easily. Like I said before, I love to write and I don’t press very hard and these stop me from doodling, writing, coloring, anything! Also you can barely read what I write because they are so light. Plus so rough...you can practically feel every tiny pore of the paper because these are so scratchy on the page. Give me the pilots or any other smooth writing pen any day. Anything but those 10 cent things. I save money in a lot of places but I will always splurge for a nice pen lol. (Side note-the pen isle at my local office supply store is isle 20 and my family always does their best to steer me away. I’ll be there forever! Like a kid in a candy store 😂!)

I thought I would love this pen, Pilot Hi-Tec-C Coleto as I really enjoy the standard Hi-Tec-C, but I have been disappointed with it ever since I got it. The ink cartridges run out very quickly and, especially as they have been running out, are very prone to air bubbles. They also write erratically: some days they write well, other days they write only after some scribbling on scrap paper, and on a few occasions they have refused to write at all. I know that Hi-Tec-C's are prone to this sort of thing, but the Coleto cartridges seem even worse than the standard pens. hoping to win beacuse i loved pen so much. but I loved to buy but i cant afford for this time beacuse i have a lot of finances like my fees in studies etc. I following you because your vlogs is very entertaining. Talking about worst experience with pens.. Let me tell you a little story.. A girl was 14 years old and she loved art and painting.. She asked her parents for buying sketch pens but they were so poor that her parents could not afford it..At the end of the day she was not able to buy them and committed suicide.. FYI It's a real incident happened in Oddisha state of India..
