If the vocals come in on 1 it's useful to add the pitch notes of the first measure to the guide queue, that way the vocalists can match the pitch to come in on. Even better would be to add the vocalists own recorded voice of the first measure, in the countdown; it helps them remember the first lyrics. You'd be amazed how often vocalists forget the lyrics of the first measure. Its not always that they're not prepared, but there can be a lot of distractions on stage and your mind can wander.
Alright thank you for everything you are doing - I have a quick question! So..... I made some cues in Ableton, but I also made some live loops, lets. say it's a loop of the intro. Then everytime it hits the loop, I it will count in to the vers. Is it possible to only make the cue come os soon as I have pressed the go feather from loop button? Thanks!
