Thanks to you I have resuscitated a moth ridden cashmere sweater with some lovely embroidery. It was rather fun to see how it transformed the sweater! You are my go to for any embroidery advice and thank you for sharing your knowledge.
Your work is lovely. I appreciate being able to watch and learn from you. I am amazed you have so many views but not as many likes. I don’t understand it . I love everything about your videos, Thank you.
I always enjoy your videos - and our styles are so different. I’m no beginner and there is always something new for me to try, something to add, different color combinations, etc. Always a joy to watch you ❤
Thank you Sarah and Jonathan for another wonderful video. Great close ups of your stitches Sarah and so timely,I am at the point where I want to add a garden of flowers to a project.
What a wonderful video! You have inspired me so much to have a go at embroidery. My late mother was an avid embroiderer and I have very recently inherited her large stash of vintage threads and patterns and you have given me the inspiration and guidance I need to have a go. Thank you so much.🥰
Lovely as always Sarah, thank you, I have honestly lost count of the number of times your designs have provided me with making the perfect little gift for someone, they are always just right!
I've been doing embroidery on and off for 40 years and didn't know about closed fly stitch. It's easier than how I do my leaves at the moment using straight stitches. Thanks so much for introducing it to me
This was a great video. I loved seeing the different flower sprays. However, I would have enjoyed it much more had you spoken through the entire video instead of the music. I find your instructions much more helpful, and at times, I lose my focus with the music. Thank-you. 😃❤️
Pretty posies! I really like that variegated yellow/orange silk ribbon, and love the way you paired it with the dark beads for the flower centers. Thanks for the downloadable designs! 💖 P.S. The kitty figurines on your bookshelf are great! It's like having Ginger Cat and Pinky right there with you all the time. 🤗
I have learned so much from you in a short time. I will also thank you for teaching me a good french knot technique so I can actually make them now and they are not so intimidating. Thank you so much. Love the kitties as well.
Stunning and alot of work. The ribbon rose and leaves are beautiful. You inspired me to finish off my little flower spray with more greenery, and attempted to do closed fly st leaves.
Hello Sarah 😊. I am just learning to embroider. I find your teaching really easy. Your instructions are very informative and easy to do. I have just subscribed so it will be easy for me to go to your teaching. Thank you so much. 🪡🧵🧶🩷
I love so much your videos and am really grateful for them, but I can’t watch the ones with the piano music as I find it so sad (grieving) - will try with sound off.
You do beautiful work! Enjoy watching someone stitch correctly. I don’t 😕. I only work on tea towels and occasionally pillow cases and do all my stitching on top as much as I can. As a result, my work could never win best prize but it doesn’t look bad considering the project. Thank you for your videos and NO annoying music!!!!
Thank you Sarah, I have really enjoyed this video. I need to find out what pdf means. I don't have a computer, just this small tablet but I will ask at the library to see if they could print a pattern for me. Love Vera in ireland. ❤
This is extraordinarily lovely! That linen thread has a wonderful look to it. And the silk ribbon is always lush and gorgeous. I don't have silk ribbon and as much as I love it, as a quilter who already owns quite a bit of embroidery thread, I can't justify starting a new thread collection! I know it won't look the same if I don't use silk ribbon but can I do the same stitch with stranded cotton or would I be better off finding an alternate way to stitch those two silk ribbon flowers? I'll look into it, but do you have any suggestions for stitching those two flowers without the silk ribbon? Many thanks for sharing these gorgeous and yet attainable floral sprays. I am going to add them to my slow stitch scroll!
I would strike a bargain with myself... finish one started project, or one mending job, then reward myself with a wee purchase of a bit of ribbon: just enough to see if I Love it.
Sarah I want to thank you for presenting your video demonstration how to do stitches. Compared to many other demonstrators the women’s hands or nail were either dirty or the nail polish 1/2 chipped of. There condition distracted away from the stitching. Thank you for beautiful stitch work.
No matter how many times I watch one of your new videos with simple stitches, it seems like I can always take away a new idea. I especially love the beads in this one. Thank you for sharing with us. I am off to the desk top to download the pdf.
Personal comment: Your hair looks very nice and we can see your eyes (lol) with your bangs cut above your eyes. I am so happy when Friday comes so I can feel like I am embroidering too while I watch your video. I am currently working on a huge project with a lot of hand appliqués with tiny pieces. Will post photo on Fcbk when done. Thank you so much for being there Sarah and Jonathan, .
