exactly!! They let all of those fringe clowns have their trucks back and none of them served the time they deserved behind bars. Was just a maga street party that should have never been allowed to set up in the first place.

@@JudyPitcher The bs lockdowns and mandates were the cause of "billions" in losses... Not the protestors who knew what Canada was doing wrong and took action against it.

@@Cadapech *_yeah thats a big ol NO, just like the "need" for the act, all fabricated. Time to grow up now and get your info from more than just cbc. Just like the Russian disinformation they tried to circulate along with a list of other bs, they lied, about a lot !_*
@Cadapech there's not a single shred of evidence that supports that claim. What there is proof of though is the city mayor disabling all cameras in the city (like traffic cameras and city run CCTV) prior to the riot police assaulting peaceful protesters
when a government takes action against it's citizens instead of listening and talking, is there really a need to have a judge tell us that it was unconstitutional and unreasonable ? and Freeland , the way she talks down to people- and always starts with the phrase "as I've said before" like a mom who constantly scolds her kids... just because she can.
They won't even say Unconstitutional cause they spent years arguing it was constitutional and that would prove they just lied or didn't know. Insane clown world.
I feel bad for those poor protesters who were arrested for no valid reason and for the people who had their bank accounts frozen while Freeland was showing off, so proud of her decision to punish in an evil way those poor supporters.
"The public safety of Canadians was under threat..." But nobody got hurt until the government got involved... The government was the one to throw the first punch
This was an occupation. They blatantly stated they wanted to overthrow the gov't. We all know if this was a group of guys named Mohammed and Abdul occupying the capital city, harassing people, and demanding the overthrow of our democracy, you wouldn't be cheering on their "right to protest."
There was no threat. If Trudeau had just grew a pair and met with the protesters it would have shown some true leadership and things would have been a lot different
@@MountainCat1Mthats what leaders do, talk to the people against them and make it a level playing field where everyone understands the purpose of everyone. If you don’t know how to govern or lead a country. You shouldn’t be discussing politics as well.
Appeal what ? It's decided .....if they were to somehow by some miracle win an appeal,,,,,it would onley show some dirty business and a bribe .....who changes their mind on a verdict ?
Exactly. The appeal will just reconfirm the verdict and they will still be found guilty. They are trying to play with the time, and delays at our expense, once again.
Unfortunately, even if Liberals are good or excellent. They've been in government for long and this can be a threat for Canada when it comes to corruptions and abuse of power. Canada must have a different political journey away from Liberals for now.
The citizens of Ottawa are Canadians. Meanwhile, the Krybaby Klown Konvoy were being funded by foreign money to occupy the nation's capital and try to overthrow the gov't.
Maybe if Government would.have started a conservation and addressed the truckers concerns as soon as they arrived in Ottawa, the Truckers and their Families wouldn’t have had to stay in our Capital for a month being ignored by the Federal Government.
@CTV... You made a spelling and pronounciation error. It's ILLEGAL. I - L - L -E - G - A -L. Not Unreasonable. Unreasonable means something else and sounds different.
well NDP & Jagmeet, it's very clear at this point that if you don't pull out of your agreement with Justine and cause a federal election to be called, you will no doubt fall much further in the polls and beyond any meaningful recovery (for probably about 12 - 15 years minimum).
I think the NDP may turn on the liberals soon. Their ship is sinking and the NDP probably are smart enough to not go down with it. Saw jag talking about this yesterday and he was somewhat trying to distance himself from them
If they did that would likely ignite Canada into riots in the street & force the Bloc to another referendum. Canadian might just demand that they also get to vote in the Quebec referendum. @@bluethunder1951
Well, this throws mud in the face of the Emergency Act Inquiry decision (2022) by Commissioner Paul Rouleau. Looks like the Supreme Court is the last point of defense for Canada's democracy.
Mr. Rouleau is a biased liberal supporter and funded the party in 2006.. Here's some information for you. ...Toronto Sun opinion columnist Lorne Gunter criticized the report's conclusion, and wrote that "Rouleau read into the Emergencies Act his own form of the Constitution's notwithstanding clause".[8] In another opinion column in the Toronto Sun, Brian Lilley noted that Rouleau had faced public allegations that he was Trudeau's uncle.[9] A fact check by CTV News discredited claims that Rouleau was related to Trudeau. CTV could not find records of donations from Rouleau to the Liberal Party, but did find that Rouleau's wife had, in fact, donated to the Liberals in 2006.[10] Lilley also pointed out Rouleau's deep ties to the Liberal party, adding "there is no clear indication that Justice Rouleau has had anything to do with Liberal Party politics in nearly a quarter century", but suggested that it would have been better to appoint "someone whose independence couldn't be questioned".[9].....Just to spark your memory, before the summer break of 2023....trudeau hired to investigate foreign election interference David Johnston who has been accused of being unfit for the job because of his connections to Prime Minister Justin Trudeau. This was biased and is conflict of interest.
In 1983, Rouleau was part of John Turner’s campaign for leadership of the Liberal Party of Canada after Pierre Trudeau announced retirement. Contemporary media reports described him as either Turner's executive assistant or appointments secretary.[3
You have softened the decision for the viewer. It might be a good idea to let your viewers know what the Supreme Court of Canada had said. Maybe you have recieved kickbacks form a certain government, I don't know, but the viewer should know the truth.
People who had their bank accounts frozen can now sue, also sets a precedent for the next authoritarian PM who thinks they can stop Canadians from disagreeing and protesting the gov't, let's Canadians know that they ARE free to protest and not have their bank accounts frozen and their kids threatened to be taken away from them, helps stop gov't overreach etc....
The occupation was removed unconstitutionally doesnt mean they shouldn't have been removed. They needed to leave before the act was envoked. The occupation cost tax payers million and small independent companies could not conduct regular business. If anyone thinks restaurants in the dt core where the occupation was occurring did better financial please explain how handing out free food infront of a restaurant doesn't impact sale inside the restaurant. @@sommebuddy listen to yourself? You are calling people that didn't have jobs hard working. If they were so hard working why did they stay in Ottawa for 30+ days and need crowd funding? FREEEEEDUMB 🇨🇦🔥
Unreasonable means they didn't really break the law but they probably went too far, the judge ruled it was unconstitutional meaning he broke the law and violated the constitutional rights of the people which is a pretty serious crime
Court Rules Federal Government Decision To Invoke Emergencies Act Was Unconstitutional And Unreasonable I miss the Truckers !! With the 🇨🇦 flags !! And Canadian values !!
I remember the Windsor group provided a lane so the border wasn't shut down. Ottawa was also not completely blocked. The Windsor protest ended before the invocation of the Act in question.
Laws are based on WORDS. The opinion of lawyers we never elected locked in a room in secret with politicians DO NOT get to decide what should be done as a matter of opinions. LAW is specific, the government over-reached. Finally, a real judge who looks at real laws and real words. Honourable Richard Mosley: we salute you, sir!
Tell me if I'm wrong but what hes basicly saying is..even though our government was acting illegally with mandates and restrictions, the amount of canadians protesting was too big and causing supply chain issues to the system. Instead of taking back our unconstitutional mandates that caused these issues in the first place, we than chose to make it worse by attacking your finances and livelihoods further cohersing our agenda. The supreme court has ruled against our actions and we intend on appealing! 🤦♂️ sad but true.
BLAH BLAH BLAH YADAYADAYADA WAH WAH WAHWAH WAH WAH!!! WHEN DOES HE GO TO JAIL??? Politicians NEVER go to jail EVER EVER EVER. and I mean never!!! It does not matter what the judge says. All judges will make sure a politician NEVER goes to jail. They have no choice. They're in the same gang. Can't put gang leaders in prison eh?
The public safety of Canadians was under threat because you threw them in jail and froze their bank accounts so they couldn’t buy their medication! Get your act together Canada, get these people out and fight for truth, facts and decency!
the way they word it before was some1 may brake the law not that they r braking the law. well u have a hand so can i hit u before u hit me? sounds crazy right?
Unreasonable? It was UNCONSTITUTIONAL and here is the clarification......The court declared invoking the E.A was unreasonable and UNCONSTITUTIONAL. The court stated once an Emergency Act is declared the government has the ability to create new criminal law without advance notice or debate in parliament (depicts Trudeau to the core as UNTRANSPARENT). Trudeau chose the Public Order Emergencies Act which only allows for a high threshold emergency to take place which is a threat that cannot be controlled by other legal measures and should only be used as a last resort. The government lost on all possible measures, stating: It was ruled there was no national emergency. The emergency had to affect all provinces of the country for a national security risk. It was deemed there was NO threat to the security of Canada. It is stipulated the emergency threat would incur use of SERIOUS VIOLENCE to Persons And Property for political or ideology purposes. The head of CESIS declared there was NO THREAT to Canada only one incident at Coutts/Alberta where arrests took place using the criminal code by RCMP and was resolved. After invoking the E.A. liberal cabinet members created regulations that were deemed UNCONSTITUTIONAL by the court: prohibiting travel, meeting and supporting the protest. It was found an unjustified limit to freedom of expression and had the effect of criminalizing anyone who partook in the protest even those who peacefully stood quietly by holding placards. Freezing accounts deemed UNCONSTITUTIONAL: entails unreasonable searches of financial records including the spouses and violates our privacy rights under the Canadian Charter. Financial status, wealth, lifestyle choices are some records that are exposed and violated. This unlawful act happened to some Canadians which banned them from paying their mortgages and buying groceries. Freeland FALSELY claimed the protest created economic harm and though there was a blockade at borders and localized downtown core Ottawa businesses shut down it was deemed concerning but didn’t constitute threats of SERIOUS VIOLENCE to persons and property and was labelled UNCONSTITUTIONAL. Freeland is just as repulsive as Trudeau
Ha! The we to I was convinced statement shows she's going to fall on her sword for the liberals. She'll probably step down and this will soon be forgotten 🙄
It was too hard for Trudeau to go and talk to hurting Canadians whose lives he had turned upside down! So he abused the system and Canadians in the most cruel and despicable way! Shame shame! He made a mockery of Canada!! How can these people justify this is beyond me but I am glad the judge did the right thing. This gives me hope for our country.
They were not Trudeau preferred people, Trudeau has a vision for Canada and the people who's family have, for generations, built this country are not included.
The public safety of Canadians was under threat, by truckers in bouncy castles. The only thing under threat was and is Trudope's reign of tyranny and its finally coming to an end!
Just because people don’t agree with you doesn’t constitute an emergency, Canadians have a right to protest things their against politicians work for the people something Trudeau and the liberals have definitely forgotten, now he’s appealing this decision because he would love to remove more of our rights and he’s using our money to do this, I for one don’t approve of this waste of our money he needs to accept this decision and resign now
I think the best part of this video was when Chrystia Freeland came out on "STAGE" and threw up all over the PLACE. I guess when you are so full of sh#@ this is what happens.
