See how to calculate the cost and revenue of a product, in the absence of profitability analysis (CO-PA) using Profit Center Accounting.
Normal Process:-
Suppose, We have a Profit center (product).
We create total sales (sales value)
Then we calculate the cost (COGS) and deductions (if any).
Finally, we calculate the Profit.
Here in this scenario, we will capture all this cost, revenue and deduction through a sales order.
Step we will follow are:-
- We will create a sales order
- Do the delivery
- Process the invoice
- Post the collection entry
In all this process, we will see the use of Profit center
