Use Perplexity AI to CRUSH IT at Business! (Better than ChatGPT & Google) 

Hi Stephanie, thanks for the comment. Totally agree, for now I am keeping both subscriptions. Perplexity really thrives at finding high quality internet sources and distilling them down to the key points, while ChatGPT is still king for pure AI conversations and cool GPTs. Was a bit disappointed with the google gemini ultra launch, so will stick with these 2 :-)

in theory they should be very similar when using "writing" mode in perplexity. I just tested out prompt:"give me 2 bullet points describing nuclear fusion ELI5" ***ChatGPT GPT4: -Nuclear fusion is like how the sun makes its energy. Imagine taking two small, light balls (like hydrogen atoms) and smashing them together so hard that they stick together to form a bigger ball. This process releases a lot of energy, which is what we're trying to use for power on Earth. -It's very hard to do on Earth because you need super hot temperatures and lots of pressure to get the small balls to stick together. Scientists are working on special machines that can create these conditions, so we can have a powerful and clean source of energy, just like the sun. ***Perplexity GPT4 writing mode: - Nuclear fusion is like the ultimate energy handshake: it's when two small atoms, usually types of hydrogen, come together to form a bigger atom, like helium, and release a huge amount of energy in the process, just like the sun does to shine. - To make fusion happen on Earth, we need to create super-hot conditions, hotter than the sun's core, so the atoms move fast enough to overcome their "don't touch me" force and combine, which is really hard to do but could give us a lot of clean energy if we figure it out.

It will be interesting if you see better results. In the ones I have tried I like the fact it enriches the data with other internet sources, but depending on the use case that might not be ideal. Thanks for watching!

Perplexity using GPT4 and Claude as well as their own model. Yes it's great to have the competition with new google gemini advanced. I personally still prefer GPT4 but its good to have so many options
