Wow!!! What a day for Feb and all the rain. I wasn't even planning to try figured the rain had them all turned off!! Once again you have taught me something with your vid. I appreciate you man.
Landon I'm new to the channel and love it, I live in Asheville and mostly fish Lake James. I really like how you put your baits in the screen shot of your video's. Keep up the awesome editing. Tight lines dude!
Good info. I got a little tournament on Greenwood, SC and it looks maybe worse than that and it’s supposed to have spots in it. Never fished it before.
Sweet video I love the muddy water it’s one of my favorite times on Norman right behind the spawn. Got my boat fixed but now I’m sick lol still won’t make it out, maybe next weekend
Cold front this weekend might as well wait until next weekend but that's the CBC tournament then the BFL the weekend after. Norman has too many tournaments come fish on a weekday
Lol of course when I say that one bites, I actually tried that little swimbait all day never got a bite on it too muddy. I got permission to fish an 11 acre pond with shad stocked and not fished much this spring is going to be good
Awesome job, bass are so strange. Why would they be in the muddy water and not in the clear? You think they think they are hidden and they are able ambush easier? Anyway great 👍 video
Thanks I think the ones in muddy water are easier to trick. Those clear water bass can see it too well. Lake Norman has a million boats a day fishing it. Alot of guys catch them in the clear water but I can't
Good video bud. Going to the Hill in the morning. Like you I believe everything I got tied up is red or has red in it. I'll hit you up on FB if I catch em.
@@landonmoore76 Well you were right after watching some videos from a while back. That speed trap you used gave us 2nd place and big fish today in our club tournament at the Hill. I can honestly say I own about every crankbait there is but never had a speed trap. But after watching you catch em on the that plug I picked up a few and used them today and when they eat it side ways from almost 6 pounds down in size you know they want that plug...... Now everybody is wanting one down here.....lol
@@joeyTR21X that's awesome that speed trap catches them that's for sure everyone throws it on Norman. I need to pick up some more. 2nd place is a good finish catching them on a crankbait is fun. How much total weight did you guys have?
@@landonmoore76 2nd.....14.31...Big fish 5.71....we stopped counting our bass caught during the tournament at 22. We ended up with around 30 bass caught. We even tried other square bills and not a single bite. They were definitely dialed in on that one plug.....
Thanks the thing about Norman is the pattern always change so who knows by the time of the hobie tournament. Alot of guys will be staying in clear water but there's some big ones in the muddy water
Yes it's a red craw rock crawler 50 but a dt 6 works too. I think the rock crawler gets hung up way less and cast better. They do great in rip rap and catch alot of spots
