Wow, if I only knew that before, I would probably be 1 year younger. I always did a cut before the last animation starts to make it less painy, but then if I had to change the text I have to copy/paste the title in the second graphic. That handle trick is painless! Thanks Gal

I wish so badly this could work for all media, such as video or images in non-graphics clips, especially for a keyframed transition element such as a slight push on a cut or something. But the responsive design stuff is fantastic if you set it up and this is a great explanation on how and why to do so!
You can actually do something similar and use them as adjustment layers. Say if you us the same kind of zoom all the time. Saves time on moving the keyframes all the time you just resize the graphic and right click, tick adjustment layer. Saved me so much time.
WOW, great video. Will apply this as default, makes total sense animation - i would love to learn how a 'tripod 4k shot image' can be dynamic zoomed in. I know how to do that in a linear one (change scale) but can i 'fly in' from left to right or from a corner diagonal up to a point, in an easy way? paths? I cant find it how to do that easily?

How do you deal with the abysmal performance of MOGRTs in general? Any tips on how to setup your project to work well with MOGRTs? Or how to design MOGRTs that perform seamlessly?
A lot of the older mogrts are terrible, but the newer ones have multi frame rendering and faster. For effect heavy mogrts, I just open then in Ae and edit them there.
I follow your tips and lessons regularly... It may just be me but Im not a big fan of the large and highlighted captions, it is distracting and makes the video too busy. Now with that said I really like the effect and I would use it sparingly for a lot of projects because it's a cool effect. . . ~N

They are different, Film Impact is it's own tool that I use in every video, my toolkit has seamless transitions and will have text animation presets in the next version -- but I wouldn't be able to replace the amazing-ness of Film Impact's Smart Tools like Motion Tween.
OK, I'm gonna answer my own question. The little, blue handles WILL NOT show or work on a video clip. It has to be a graphics clip. In the Effects Control panel, add a shape or text and the Graphics heading will appear. This is where the handles live.
