if the melody notes are on beats 1 or 3 (the white lines), then add chordal notes (the same notes as in your chords) and if not, then add non-chordal notes (if your chord has C E G, then don't use any of those 3 notes for the top melody)

Im a logic pro user and i usually just take a normal voice and EQ them and maybe slow them down a bit and pitch

@@coinbeast8160 yeah same. lowering the frequency/eq and increasing the feedback killer makes vocals sound super lo-fi - very good for sad music accompanied by piano or mellow keys @user-kc1jk5bl8w hope that helps a bit
