I'm getting my tumbler next month. I've got about $200 in clad to get cleaned up, then deposited into my special bank acct. Great review of the two chemicals, thank you for showing me this ☺

Great video Tony! I'm actually tumbling my clad right now with the exact Tumblr that you're using. Been using it for about 10 years now still works great. The orange stuff did pretty well. I usually do the same a little Dawn dish soap, water mixed with CLR and some fish tank Pebbles. it cleans them up well. All the best. HH. JOE.

Hi I'm in the UK and I use old battery acid mixed with salt but this mixture is ONLY used on spendable coins so I can re-use them (don't leave them in for too long). Use long nosed pliers to grab the coin then straight into water. I then polish then using a fine brass bristle suede brush. Had some luck with Bicarb. Dampen the coin first with water and rub in the Bicarb powder with my Thumb. Used this method on prized coins like my solid silver Queen Victoria silver sixpence dated 1881.

I have been using Dawn dish detergent, lemon juice extract and airlift pellets instead of fish tank pebbles.

I use the CLR and the white landscape gravel and a small amount of dawn dish washing liquid. Put the lid on and shake well then bleed the pressure of several time before putting on the tumbler or the drum will expand and not turn. Time depends on how many and how dirty. do pennies by there self or have all copper colored change the other change together. They will be accepted by the bank to make shiny tumble pennies with a little BRASSO others jewelers mix
