Make sure you use chipqwik if you're worried about overheating a component even though that shouldn't be the case if you're removing the components correctly. Relatively easy job in my opinion.

Please! Can you provide to us the soldering temperature, air speed, technique, and method in removing the conformal coating? I performed this service with a CAS 4 (1L15Y) 2009 BMW 750i which the key creation process is successful. Old key works, new key works and can start the car. The only problem is that all the lights on the dashboard lights up! Check engine light, left head light malfunctions, power steering is half way. What is the problem with the process for it to go like this? Let me know please.
@@danielf1016 Hi, it's now been one year and some and I've learned a lot about BMW. To this day I greatly believe that the vehicle I was working on already was problematic. I've done about a hundred BMW cars using the similar methods that I did for the first CAS 4 and I never encountered a problem. I want to say that the car was bad in the first time before I touched it but I didn't verify. The dealership never asked for compensation at all and accepted it. One important tip I learned is to to check the state of the car before and after you work on it.
There is an adapter for vvdi2 to cas and also to ews in the bank. But also to do this cas4 is this operation necessary? or is it possible to do it only with an adapter without the need for vvdi prog?

I don’t think that I’ve ever seen a worse soldering technique, overheated burnt PCB, and as far as refitting the componants, absolutely terrible. I’m surprised the Car started.

@@jinxxpwnage autel im608, xtool, adding key by obd port. and yes indeed for all keys lost you have to remove cas module from the car and connect it on the bench but not having to solder, just pin it by the plug
