Use your balcony wisely! Keep both Washing Machine & Dishwasher in your small balcony

In this video I have shown how we managed to accommodate both a washing machine and a dishwasher in a small 8' X 4' balcony.
Also I have explained about the power connection for the two and the arrangement made for the water inlet and outlet.
The door opening into the balcony also was very narrow and posed a challenge in getting the dishwasher. Luckily we discovered that by removing the top cover of the dishwasher, it became 3" less in depth. I have shown how we just about managed to move the dishwasher into the balcony.
The less width of the balcony proved to be a blessing in disguise as we had to keep the dishwasher sideways and this facilitated easy loading and unloading of the dishes from the kitchen.
I am sure this video would help many people with similar space related issues to accommodate their appliances.

Does it invite rats and other such insects because of the food waste from dishwasher outlet? Do you have any enclosure near the outlet/drain or is it just as is?

Actually we have to empty large food particles and load the dishes. The remaining residual food waste from dishwasher gets purged out entirely at the end of the cycle as there is a rinse cycle after wash cycle. So this does not invite rats. The drain pipe is just connected to the drain as it is. Fortunately we do not have rats. If there are rats, they will need to be handled suitably. Thanks.

I had not thought of whether we can take the dishwasher into the balcony because of the door. I will have to check.

You can check it. If you have water connection in the kitchen balcony and you have place for a dishwasher, you should try keeping it there.

What is the impact on maintenance of the dish washer due to salty water?

You have to check for lime scale formations in the spray arms, rinse aid and detergent compartment and other parts in the dishwasher and descale regularly. The frequency will depend on the hardness of your water. Also, if the water hardness is more, the consumption of detergent, salt and rinse aid will be more, Basically, the issue of frequent scaling should be addressed on a regular basis, to get effective cleaning of dishes and also prolong the life of the machine. Am facing an E14 error on my dishwasher for the 3rd time. They replaced the inlet chamber twice saying there is limescale deposit inside ..my tds is around 600ppm now . More in summers as i said 600 and drops in rainy days and winters like 300ppm..... What is the ideal solution that u can recommend to avoid the E14 error in future ??

If you are facing repeated E14 error, it could be that the softener system in the dishwasher is faulty. Please get it checked by them. If the machine is under warranty please ask for replacement. Of course, that will need some effort and taking up the issue with the company. First let them find where the fault is. In case there is a large variation in the water hardness between summer and rainy season, please ensure that the salt setting is done according to the hardness whenever it changes. Thanks.

Mem do u suggest or recommend air fryers which one and what to notice to buy

As I have mentioned in the air fryer video, to buy one or not is an individual decision. If you want to enjoy fried food without the oil, there are many items which can be prepared in the air fryer with little or no oil. I don't think there are many things to look for in an air fryer. Most of them are of similar size and capacity. Some of them have display and some don't. And others have dial type control while some have touch control. You have to decide on the above factors and choose the brand based on your preference. I preferred and bought Philips and it is priced higher than other brands. It is working well for more than 2 years now. Thanks.

To buy an air fryer or not is an individual decision. If you enjoy fried food and are health conscious, there are lots of food items which can be done in the air fryer with little or no oil. Air Fryers are all mostly of similar size and capacity, but some have display, some have dial control, some have touch control. You have to decide based on the features and brand of your preference. I wanted to buy Philips and I bought it although it is priced higher than other brands. Thanks.

Nice info I have to remove my door to install the dishwasher into gallery We have transferable job so I always worried that whenever I have to uninstall dishwasher again I have to call carpenter Can we remove the top tray if dishwasher at home Or do you called company service man
